so i played it and loved it, until the motion controls. i didn't like it and i was clearly not getting used to it either. luckily there was an option to turn it off. then i found out that some enemies had this 1v1 system where u use heavy attacks and normal attacks. i didn't like it and i never did. it just feels kinda bad. not only can the enemy block and not you, the enemy can stun you with the blocks and the 1v1 system uses the touchscreen which **** because u are always going to overdo your swipes and then hit the enemy while they are blocking, which gets you stunned. if you look away from all of that then this is a really good game. i never thought i would spend more time on but that's because it has its moments and it still feels like a dynasty warriors game.

i like this game. i understand why many people hate it, with the boring start but the boredom is far away once you get forward in the game. i feel like the first couple of hours is a tutorial for whats coming up. the game really gets fun later and i think that all these reviewers that think its boring only played the first hours. i like that the game is trying something different.
i think it feels like they combined resident evil and snake eater. it might use the same engine as mgsVTPP but its more if they used the healing, hunting and eating from snake eater, used resident evil 4 or 5 combat and put it onto the fox engine because thats their latest engine. i agree that the thirst and hunger bar is kinda annoying but i let it pass because its survive and not solid. the combat is nice but sometimes feels BS because i poke em with the spear but i don't hit em and they hit me with their short arms and instantly hit me. i love the base builder and when i unlock something it feels like i actually earned it. i love how you have to think before taking action. like: am i gonna make this?, do i have the resources to do that? and is this the best way to do it? i remember that i used to run around swinging my shovel at the wanderers and hoping for the best. later i saw a big horde and decided to think before doing anything. i decided to try sneaking past and use bottles to distract them and it worked. this made me use my brain before doing anything. ask yourself these questions. not gonna lie but there are many bad things but they didn't hit me that hard. i hate the food and thirst and how fast it goes down but after getting the farms and hanging pot nothing was a big issue like at the beginning of the game. you start with nothing and have to drink dirty water and if u were lucky, find clean water. then gaining more and more til the point where food and water is not an issue anymore. the game is a zombie game where you start with nothing and grow stronger. remember that this is no metal gear solid game, this is metal gear survive. its a reason they didn't have solid in the name because it has something new to offer. that is why metal gear rising revengeance doesn't have solid in the name. because it has the sword battle which makes it feel like a brand new series. adding solid to the name would make original fans think that this is like the other games. removing solid form the name make it shine as its own thing while the others can stand solid. i think if you played the first hours and hated it then just play more and it will get fun. o think you should wait til the game goes on sale or just buy one cheap on the internet. i bought mine for 15$ and it came with dlc code and it was unopened. probably why i like it so much more because i got it cheap and it feels like i got what i paid for.

the game is good but the controls ain't. its sad that i have to give the wii version that low of a score because i love this game and its story. i played it only to figure out that it uses motion controls, which i thought first was ok, but after using it, my opinion changed. the motion controls are doing special attack that isn't even mapped to that motion movement. i know i was doing many of the movements wrong, but that is no excuse to say that the motion controls are good. of course you are gonna do the motions wrong when you are to focussed on the gameplay. even trying to think about what direction is what, is gonna stress you up. i know you added gamecube and classic controller support, but i know you just added that to back up the bad motion controls. im thankfull though. maybe you should have just waited for motion plus or something. maybe the rating would be better if i had a classic or gamecube controller up my sleeve. i only recommend this version if you have a classic controller or gamecube controller. if you dont then go for the ps2 version or xbox version.

i really love this game. i love the combat and how this game is placed in a alternate timeline where Tony survives the attack at the end.
