Star Wars: The Old Republic3
Sep 9, 2012
When the creators of SWTOR entered E3 with their ''parade'' I knew that this game will go down the same road as ME3 did. In short this game is not worth the price and you have to be a heck of a Star Wars fanboy to be able to play this game. The game basically is singleplayer story/dialogue, but with an useless multiplayer added on. I did enjoy the Sith Inquisitor and the Bounty Hunter story, but the rest especially all the republic stories are boring. Not to mention that there is a bug in the Inquisitor and Trooper story that can get you stuck and you would have to replay everything. I don't know why did the designers think that putting countless abilities that do the same thing would be a great idea especially talking about the Inquisitors many lightning attacks. The environment and the graphics are slim and very laggy due to the garbage that gets dropped in to your RAM. I guess the creators expected that most of the player population will be at their capitals so they made them huge, but everybody spends their time in the fleet causing massive lag there. Talking about lag, EA has turned most of it's servers down and will be using them for their next repetitive FPS game. Leaving the most laggiest servers for SWTOR, no matter how fast is your internet or your PC you will be experiencing fatal lag. The great promise of this being the next gen MMO that will destroy WOW was all an advertisement by EA as the same for other games that EA had over hyped, but differently than ME3 or BF3 where players buy a copy once, SWTOR has a monthly payment that players stopped paying after the first month. This has caused a financial disaster for EA, actually this may be the greatest financial disaster ever. 155 million dollars the largest production cost in history of gaming and it certainly hasn't paid off. The game isn't worth buying especially when you have to buy it through Origin and play it trough Origin. In a nutshell I hope this will destroy EA for good, cause ME3 and BF3 have been disasters for EA too, the cost of mass advertising exceeded the benefits. SWTOR, ME3, BF3, MOH, NFS, SC, Sims, EA Sports after all this everybody is the looser EA , the market, developers and the players. EA tried to benefit from false advertising, but it hit them the hardest. Goodnight Electronic A$sholes!

Mass Effect 29

Mass Effect 2 may be the best game in Mass Effect series, however the fans of the previous game could be disappointed at first and that's okay. The game has less RPG elements than before. Weapons have no descriptions so you have to field test them and there aren't many weapons, but each is unique and no weapon is better or worse than the other. The game ads new semi and heavy weapons. Weapons can still be upgraded and you get the chance to upgrade your ship and your face (renegade Shepard will stand out). Combat has been improved, but not perfected. If you don't strategies your powers, than you will be getting hard time, but if you use powers where they are needed, you will beat the game on insanity. Fans will be disappointed by the almost no progression of the main storyline. However the story focuses more on the galaxy your in and your squad. There are very interesting characters and you will enjoy the main storyline in this game. The decisions you made in ME1 will be noticeable, but don't make a huge change. Even if you haven't played ME1 you will dive in the plot with no problem thanks to the detailed codex and the careful focus on the details in this game. The side missions have been perfected and you will enjoy a lot of them, but this comes with the price of scanning planets that is extremely boring unless you go and visit Venus. The DLC's Overlord, Lair of The Shadow Broker and Kasumi's Lost Memory are also worth buying. The game uses the same good old dialogue wheel and the customization options. The soundtracks of the game are worthy, but there are two that are annoying and also one epic. The final mission may be the greatest mission and ending in video gaming history. All your work in the game is displayed very well and makes a difference. Do very bad choices and you may not make it. There is one minor problem with Garrus if you play the game you will notice it and find it annoying and funny. Even the RPG elements are less the game still is worth playing and can stand toe to teo with ME1.

This game is one of the best science fiction games up to date. It's a mix of RPG, Action (not the best though) and dialogue. Starting with the good things about this game. The epic storyline is truly worth going through and hopefully the trailer didn't spoil too much. Your character doesn't say a sentence that you don't choose. Bioware uses it's notoriously perfect dialogue wheel. During some very original missions you will be making hard choices that effect the story. The characters are a gold mine for Bioware. The RPG elements are there some may be exaggerated, but still fun. There are a lot of tweaks for weapons and armors. You can fully characterize your Shepard with looks, classes, even his scars and history. Mass Effect is an unpolished diamond and isn't perfect. There are three issues in the game. Auto-Save will rarely happen and it's a discipline to keep quick saving, make sure you holster your weapon and revive your squad mates or you won't be able to quick save. Another issue comes from long exploring and the tank Mako missions those could get really boring, but it's possible drive trough combat as long as the shield holds. Usually players will consider the combat the biggest problem, but remember when this game was made combat didn't get great as this. Your squad mates will be useful especially cause of their abilities. And with the RPG element combat gets interesting. However the AI can sometimes crash, talking about crashing there is a popular overheating bug for weapons at certain locations. If you manage to get trough the combat issues you will enjoy the wast galactic adventure.

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut3
Aug 2, 2012
This DLC is free so I ain't gonna urge anybody to do anything, but it seems like nothing. All it does it ''try'' to fix two or three plot-holes and that's it. It's an improvement, but doesn't go anywhere. The only part that made me feel enthralled was the final 15 seconds before the credits. The things that go wrong in the DLC are going to be obvious from moment start. The teleporting crew members are fixed, but it creates a new very obvious plot-hole which I cannot spoil here. The plot-hole with the victory fleet has been fixed, but also creates a new plot-hole. Some extra duologue options have been added, but those don't really explain anything especially if you get to the main villain of the game. The ending is still the same and your choices still don't matter. The colored explosions are still there, but are longer. The biggest extra you will get are pictures, yes that's right, pictures of people to make sure that you know that they are still alive and a duologue in the background talking rubbish completely off the subject. The green ending pictures look a little different cause of the green color. There is one new ending, but it's really short and has no explanation on what happened. Basically all your decisions don't matter and only the last decision is still reflected in colors. Enjoy!

Battlefield: Bad Company 29
Aug 1, 2012
The campaign is the only thing in this game that disappoints, but when you get to the multiplayer you will not be able to stop playing. Bad Company 2 is the best online FPS experience out there. You are basically thrown in a battle with complete freedom on what to do. Tanks, helicopters... you name it, only jets got taken out. The maps are huge especially if you are playing rush mode. Weapons aren't less player friendly, but more realistic. The sound effects are the best out there. The main game persists in teamwork, but if you want to do things on your own there is also a mode for that. Finally the best part of all... environmental destruction, all buildings, all walls, all trees even the ground isn't safe. But the bad things about Bad Company 2 are few improvements from the first Bad Company. Destruction improvements are less than promised and only the graphics are more improved. Tampering with the rush mode has made it more uninteresting than in the previous installment. In the campaign you are given less freedom than previously and your squad mates become completely useless. And worst of all Haggard doesn't act like Haggard at all. If you play Modern Warfare please play other battlefields before Bad Company. It may come useful.

Save your money and don't make the same mistake I did buying this game. If your a fan you will rip your hair out after playing this game, but if you are a newcomer play ME1, ME2 and imagine that this game never existed. If you have bought the game DO NOT BUY From Ashes DLC. It isn't worth the price and if you play this game on PC you can unlock the character from the ''From Ashes'' DLC with notepad. Reasons you will hate this game: 1 - It turns away from Sci-Fi and goes to space magic. 2 - All the decisions you made in previous games won't matter. 3 - Too much auto dialogue from start to finish. 4 - Boring side missions, those side mission are all the same and pointless. 5 - No more than six or seven crew members. 6 - Reapers look and function differently than in previous games. 7 - Major plot-holes. 8 - No original missions. 9 - Multiplayer that is worth playing long as it gets dlc's every month. 10 - Duologue options are useless, people will often answer the same way to your all duologue options, same with Shepard. 12 - The ending is very unoriginal, contradicts the franchise and contains a lot of space magic. In a nutshell this should have been called Little Effect 3 and the Extended Cut DLC doesn't make a difference.
