This movie is a great documentary. Disturbing and surreal in equal measure. Watching these psychopaths brag about their atrocities makes me upset, But this movie is about a lot more than the genocide that occurred in 1965. It shows how America has contributed to these murders through culture and financial aid. Exposed as well is the amount of corruption and political oppression around every turn in Indonesia. To the person who gave a negative review: a documentary is supposed show the truth. I am surmising the best way for the filmmaker to have these murderers open up like this was to to make them believe that they were being celebrated in a way. Since this documentary gave you such a strong reaction proves that it is excellent. If you can't look at the truth you shouldn't watch a movie like this and give it a 2. I thought your observations were spot on but I guess you can't handle the truth as Jack Nicholson once said.

Wow!! Reading some of these reviews says more about the reviewers' strange political/social views than it does about this movie. I read one review that said a dystopian future like this is unlikely because history has shown us that every generation has left the next generation better off than the last and that incomes are predicted to rise meteorically. All I can say is wow. Do you not think that there will be a breaking point? The patterns of history mean nothing because the whole dynamic is changing with dwindling resources, overpopulation, etc. Situations that are unprecedented in history. I could go on and on but I won't. This is great sci-fi: gritty and topical. I hope there is more science-fiction produced like this in the future.

The low score yet again leaves me little faith in professional reviewers. Excellent performances all the way around. Wynona Ryder can still act and the ice cream killer may be Chris Evans best work. Not perfect but close to depicting the dual life that the iceman somehow pulled off for so long. I actually saw the documentary years ago and it is almost as entertaining as the actual interview with Kuklinski. Highly recommended.

This is a great movie as good as or better than the original. Great humor, huge action, twists and turns. Rated too low by critics here. RottenTomatoe's score is more accurate. Excellent entry in the Marvel Universe. And who can resist the sight of all the suits at the climax? Not me. Just the way a summer movie season should start.

Very good and thoughtful sci-fi flick. Underrated here by the critics. I know it's mixing apples and oranges, but when metacritic gives this a 55 and the lame show Two Broke Girls a 66 you know there is something wrong with this site.
