I am not a Marvel fan - yes, I can hear the boos' - but I lost a bet with my daughter and saw the movie. What a surprise! I enjoyed the cast, the story, witty-writing, and especially the music. I'm am glad I watched it; it was entertaining.

I must say this movie was a pleasant surprise. It ended up being a great cast, a good story and the food was exquisite. It fueled your passion. I think that is when a movie is not just good, but great.

Excellent movie! The cast was excellent. The writing was superb. The location was breathtaking, and the food was exquisite. Not a boring moment, not a slow moment. Good start, good finish. I could, and will, watch this movie again. It made you think about your priorities in life, and it made you want to cook a gourmet meal. Exactly what it should have done!

If it were not for the lovely "occasional" views of Italy, and the 30-second shots of the food, I would have walked out of this movie. It could have been an exquisite movie, but the over-winded silliness of the characters and the constant ad-libbing with no logical conversation at all, absolutely no story-line, made this movie a disaster. I could have predicted the disaster when the opening scene was nothing but 15 minutes of their jibberish. I have never wanted the main characters in any movie to just be quiet - but this one, I just wanted them to shut-up, show more scenes of the food and of Italy. I mean, the title is "A Trip to Italy" not "A Roadtrip with Idiots." It was misleading, as well as the trailer, and I will be very reluctant to ever watch a movie directed by Winterbottom again. How sad, with the location and food storyline, it should have, and could have, been a wonderful movie. I rate this movie a Zero.
