Monkey Mischief: Party Time

Fantastic piece of software this one. Monkey Mischief is by far the industry's greatest triumph, is what every developer should strive for, and is better than Mario Kart. I can't communicate to you how perfect and godlike Monkey Mischief is. As an idea, Monkey Mischief is pure genius, minigames on the WII, incredible. Every playable monkey has their own personality which are often more relatable than the personalities you see on TV and dare I say, far more sexy. In the game you take over the zoo when the zookeeper is away, this of course reflects the subtle themes of Holocaust denial and class conflict littered throughout Monkey Mischief's fetching narrative. One of the game's most clever works of art (every minigame is one) is Monkey Dodgeball, a game itself that induldges in erotic monkey fantasies and hints at the correlation between sports injuries and mental deterioration. Monkey Mischief is one of those pieces of media, such as 2018's Black Panther, that is absolutely flawless. Just as I feel about Black Panther, I can;t get enough of these apes!

Skylanders Swap Force

Honestly a very overrated one, the games did a better job expanding the series potential without becoming horribly bloated with content and becoming overly monetized. The plot is nothing special, stop Kaos and now his mom (I know, the stakes are really higher this time) from kidnapping some people with their legion of purple minions, way better than the last games plot. Gameplay is fine enough, its like a LEGO game and is probably meant for children younger than me. Jumping is also new which adds a sort of dodge mechanic, staggering is new as well and makes almost all tanks and giant character unplayable. One of the games most important new feature is portal master rank which was created as a way for Activision to make back the missed toy sales from the last, far superior, Skylanders title. Swap force characters are also a new mechanic with shoe-horned importance, the whole idea of swapping Skylanders is just **** stupid, in a interview with someone who worked on the game its revealed none of the children this game was focus tested with even remotely liked the idea of the swap force Skylanders. Not to mention all the new playable characters are forgettable and uninspired along with the supporting cast, which one member of actually became a recurring character for whatever reason. It sounds like I hate this game but I really don't its just that every Skylanders game before it was far better in almost every way, even then Skylanders as a series is a sleazy cash-cow but at least I'd rather waste my money on a above decent game.

Get ready for one of the most underrated games ever made, I am still baffled by how non-existent appreciation for this stellar title is. Scribblenauts is a game about writing words in a magic notebook, what you write comes to life and is able to interact with whats already in the world you just brought it into, this brilliant mechanic allows for some serious experimentation and is also true for every game in the Scribblenauts series which may I also add are far underrated (except the first one, Maxwell was without his makeup). This game for a first in the series has a story detailed by a cutscene. So there were these two treasure hunters who loved each other so much they **** like dogs and gave birth to a army children along with you, Maxwell, and your sister who's name I can't remember at the moment. Your father grants you god hood with a magic notebook he found in the couch cushions and you, being the hoodlum you are, decide to reek havoc leading to a witch turning your sister into a rock for the sake of humanity's future. You need to collect star-things to turn her back, you can get these stars through helping others with their predicaments. In order to help create whatever the hell you feel like, your allowed, the most entertaining aspect of the game, experimentation, now being used for creative problem solving. This may make the game too easy for some but i think the challenge is to instead to try new words that will probably not help you but may lead to even more interesting interactions. The game as a whole reminds me of another forgotten game (sort of), Banjo Kazooie: nuts and bolts with its vague collectathon-ness and its mechanics only really limited by imagination. The game even include a object editor which I almost never used since it equates to sticking stickers on something. The game is short too but it's vastly replayable. I honestly don't see why this game just flew under the radar especially because the kind of youtubers who get this sort of game to catch on did let's plays of it, maybe its not for everyone but its definitely a favorite of mine.

Great game, even more so then it's Wii counterpart, especially because it controls far more naturally without having to **** the Wiimote when you want to perform the game's secondary action. The game's plot revolves around shocking developments surrounding a kidnapped banana hoard, this time being stolen by a tribe of tiki instrument hybrids with the power to hypnotize others with their music much like David Wise (who sadly doesn't provide any compositions). The player will need to traverse the exotic landscapes of DK island, though these landscapes are almost all re-imaginings and the new ones aren't really my favorite (why is there a beach world but no swimming, with all the sand it may as well be a desert world). In each world are entertaining levels, with secret like puzzle pieces and kong letters as well as tight platforming challenges and plain gorgeous visuals. You may have to play some samey bonus rooms to get said puzzle pieces but they aren't ultimately required for full completion, I personally would recommend going for all the collectibles because of just how well designed everything is. The game is also difficult but fair and power ups for insufficient players are available from Cranky, skilled player who collect all the kong letters in a world can instead get to play one of the game's even harder temple levels, but these levels are just as fair and concentration is all that is needed to complete them. A certain level type people dislike, rocket barrel stages, are some of my favorite moments in this game, the spectacle is through the roof for these ones and the game naturally introduces the somewhat bizarre controls in a wide open level, even the dreaded bat of the cave world isn't as big a problem as its made out to be. Bosses are just alright and aren't all that fun, though there are these funny moments that let you pummel the tikis in a uncharacteristically violent way for a Nintendo game. Controls are good and platforming has a certain weight that actually feels good and makes DK seem like a big gorilla, one who no matter how much he weighs, can disobey the laws of physics by rolling off edges and jumping. As a port the game is near perfect and then some, though the visuals don't seem as bright or vivid and there's a part of the level Crumble Canyon that causes noticeable slow-down. This game is just really good and if you happen to own a 3DS you should definitely check it out, especially with it's convenient portability and controls as well as the excellent bonus world.

Just don't play this, don't really, no one should have to. This game belongs in the trash for almost everything it does, **** mini-games, lackluster presentation, and repetitive gameplay. The game tasks you, the masochist, with playing 4 and only 4 mini-games to earn Trashies, all of which look like the kind of people who would buy and enjoy this game. One of these games involves trying to grab cans while your pelted by crap from both sides of the screen, crap your camera and stilted jumping will have a hard time helping you avoid. There's another game where you need to catch falling trash by moving a garbage truck left and right, but this game is way too easy and is essentially just peeing into a toilet with your wee-wee having some form of Peyronie's disease or a mind of its own. There's a mini-game that utilizes the stylus in here too, because this game loves to inappropriately touch all your loved ones, try (I really mean try it's not easy especially because you can't judge distance for **** and throw the Trashie into the bin with the target and try your hardest not to do the same with this game along with the entire game console it's on. The last game not worth mentioning has the player fling Trashies at more trash to get said trash into even more bins, if your starting to see a pattern it must be that the people who made this toy line and game respectively have some sort of fetish for trash and this game is some of their most potent fap fodder. So, what do you get for putting your self through these mini-games, Trashies, or should I say pictures of Trashies on a checklist for the collectible toy line, a checklist that can be found in about any one of the toys, with all the Trashies detailed and you not having to play this game! The game won't even give you the satisfaction of collecting rewards, there is no reason to even touch this game, even if your a fan of the Trash Pack. I feel, as strange as it is, this game could be even more awful but this is definitely up there with some of gaming's worst, its just as far down at the bottom of the barrel as the rest of them.

There's nothing wrong with these classics, but as a collection the variety is lacking and with so few arcade titles as well. Sure, the similarities between titles can be blamed on the hardware of their time, but I'm certain Namco had made more than just space shooters and maze/chase games. One of the only real standouts here is Dig Dug 2, they even included the original version of the game which is a nice addition. Even then Namco had gone with out the first Dig Dug, probably one of their most iconic games, and for whatever reason, chose only the sequel instead of having both games and ditching that lame Tower Of Druaga one (I'm sorry but that game plain ****). The game also has a library of game manuals and artwork but it's all on the DS and looks like low-res crap. There's multiplayer Pac-Man too but I had never played it and I couldn't imagine any kids who own this game having friends who'd want to play it either, especially when its part of such a lackluster game. Wanting to play arcade games on the go and nothing else, go ahead.

Another cheap rubbish mini-game compilation. Each and every game in here is poorly thought out and awful in it's own way, like this some sort of modern Action 52. The only enjoyable moments are the racing levels and only because the game lets you commit vehicular homicide against your opponent, even then the game still manages to ruin that to with lame stylus pit stop segments. Do yourself a favor and throw this game under a moving car.
