Pay2win this is all I have to say really, you can buy great guns, sure you can grind for them but you will be weak as **** for weeks while paid players will kick your ass due to the game's matchmaking caring only about level, not about what a user has unlocked with money. Stay clear of this pos.

TO ANYONE WAITING FOR HALF-LIFE 3: THIS IS HALF-LIFE 3 The story, the gameplay, enemies you encounter, the feels, it's all almost as good as Half-Life or better (in some ways). Graphically it's the peak of what 2010 had to offer. Gameplay is on par with modern titles, shooting and combat feels great. There are some intruging puzzles and no **** collectibles, everything hidden that you find helps your character in some way. Long (18-20 hours) story that makes sense.Three different endings. Flaws - cringeworthy voice acting, some hiccups in the story. It is a big shame this game hadn't have more recognition - maybe now that it's on steam and new gen consoles it will have the attention it fully deserves. I'm hoping for Singularity 2. Buy this nau !

Amazing game ! Shorter than TNO, but it's cheaper so it's fair :) Those guys really know what they are doing. The story is great, immersion is there, the gamplay is probably unmatched by any other shooter currently on the market. The story is really dark and full of gore and brutality, but never overdoes these elements. You meet some really interesting characters during the game, each with a personal story - make you sure you read various notes nad letters laying around, they were a very interesting read. Some even refer to real historic events making it even more believable. There are some new weapons in the game and new enemies making it feels fresh even if the gameplay is identical. The only cons are that the game is too short, and the locations were less varied that in TNO. Most of the time you see gray/brown depressing locations in a medieval-esque style. Grab this badboy and play it !

A fun game and really controversial, reminds me of Postal a lot, just faster. Too bad controls are bad, graphics are bad (gray looks cool but plays bad, hard to see targets) and game is unstable and crashes a lot. I recommend getting it on sale if you like wild games like that.

Evolve4

A WARNING TO CUSTOMERS: This developer is using FAKE REVIEWS to bump his game's score. Please do look at accounts giving this game 9s and 10s. You will find that most of these accounts only have 1 review (of Evolve) and all were made recently. Coincidence ? No, just UNFAIR MARKETING. Here goes my review: Sadly I have to say I am disappointed and I feel scammed out of my money (I pre-ordered). We were promised a full game, while in reality we get like 40 % of the game for 60 $ and the rest is DLC that will cost you more than 100 $ to unlock if you want it all. That much DLC in a 60 $ title is a disgrace, and a lot of it is playable characters not just cosmetics. Another problem is lack of variety, each character only has 2 unique skills, and you have 12 characters to play with, but they play the same other than their look, voice and those 2 skills, such as mines or gas grenades. Monster are way better and more unique but there are only 3 to choose from. There are more hunters and monsters, but all sold as DLC. Maps are extremely boring and repetetive, which is a shame seeing that this is a game about hunting, so enviroment should be a priority. Each and every map consists of a small complex of buildings and a patch of wilderness surrounding it. Sometimes it's rocky, sometimes swampy and sometimes the rocks are covered in snow, but do not mistake it for variety, all the textures are equally gray and uninspired. Each map has the same animals and plants. There is only one original and fun map called "Aviary" which has a cool dome with tropical enviroment inside and winter outside. I also sadly have to add that the game suffers from numerous bugs, the matchmaking is absolutely horrible, not letting you really affect what class you play as (you can choose, but the system overrides that easy 75 % of the time). Not enough players to find a match on an afternoon a month after release do not help. You often get kicked out of lobbies, the game tends to freeze or get you spawned under the map, the net code is a glitchy mess and should still be in beta. Cheating is rampant and leaderboards broken since day 1. It's not all bad though !Balance is okayish for release day, no character is useless and nobody is truly OP. The monster gameplay really reward clever tactics and punishes mindless run-feed-fight mentality. The hunters rely heavily on co-op, so getting some friends is highly recommended. If it gets on sale, get it. Otherwise stay clear of this disgusting cash-grab. The core game is fun to play, and the game would get probably 7 or 8 if not the huge issues that I described. 4/10

More of the same. Zero innovation. Should've been a DLC. Less interesting characters. Fun because it's the same as Borderlands 2 but overall disappointing. Didn't even finish it, it felt like a really stretched piece of DLC for a full price. Not cool Gearbox, not at all. Meh 5/10

Far Cry 44

Far Cry 3 is one of my favorite games ever. Does the sequel stands up to it ? It my opinion it doesn't. The story is much more bland, feels like it's trying to be dramatic but there wasn't a signle character I cared about. Pagan Min doesn't come close to Vaas, he feels fake and overly dramatic whereas Vaas felt truly insane, as he himself claimed. I even preferred to save Brody's dumb rich friends than the weird Kyrat people. The protagonist is a complete misunderstanding, reminds me of Connor from AC 3, really unintersting guy. This is subjective, but I hate the mountain enviroment of Kyrat, whereas I adored Rook Islands from FC 3. it just doesn't speak to me at all. Side missions are a disappointment. It feels like they are trying too hard to be different than in FC 3 but they became worse in the process. Main missions are even worse, not interesting at all, and not very much of them either. There are less syringes and less skills. Only two trees instead of three, everything simplified for no reason. Honestly, I feel no incentive to even finish the game, and I'm not even thinking about 100 % completion ! I also had major technical issues with the game, it's a poor console port and the UI is terrible. Took me hours to fix the biggest mouse-related problems. It has some good thing of course, the free roam is there and the hunting as well but it's a shadow of the previous part. It's a cash grab and should be avoided to teach Ubi a thing or two about proper game development. Gets 6/10 for what good it took out from FC 3.

This game is a steaming pos. First, they sell it at a ludicrous price screwing over their fans withotut very deep wallet. Second they promise tons of features, but they do not complete most of them leaving their game very shallow. Now they claimed they have finished it and moved on to another game, ignoring what they have promised. Third, their game still has massive technicual issues and poor performance. Fourth, gameplay itself is shallow and the only innovation is the idea of battles being held in a few planets at once. This sounds interesting but is executed very badly, there is no difference between planets so each one is the same flat, boring arena for the spam fest that PA is. It was certainly a promising title that seemingly was too much for the devs to handle. With the devs being that greedy and incompotent I have to give it a 2/10.

It keeps getting better and better with every patch ! PLEASE NOTE that most negative reviews are OUTDATED since the game has changed massively over the last two years. A lot of problems are much smaller or aren't there any more ! Only in this game battles with literally hundreds of people, on foot or in land/air vehicles. The graphics are really good too especially if you consider this game's grand scale. With 5 different classess and 6 vehicles, and 4 continent to fight for it's hard to be bored. It has its share of problems though: sometimes the battles are just not going good for your faction and it's hard to find a satysfying one. Balance of the factions is somewhat lackluster often leading to one factin dominating the others on a specific server. Most people claim this game has a steep learning curve, which is probably true, it took me quite a while to grasp the basics. Yes, there are tutorials but you may need to force yourself at first or watch youtube videos with guides. There is no other game like it and I strongly recommend it to shooter fans. The game heavily supports playing in a squad, but I usually lone wolf and it's really fun, nothing more satisfying than pulling a Rambo-like feat as a heavy assault or sneak behind enemy lines and sabotage the enemy base with the infiltrator. 8/10

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor8
Dec 6, 2014
I really enjoyed the Nemesis system, branding captains, each one having personality and weakness/strenghts. It added a ton of life and depth to this world. I don't think any of the other game ever tried something similar to it. Combat is superb, they nailed it. Very similar to Asassin's Creed and Batman combat but feels even smoother. The plot is TERRIBLE. We have a generic hero with a cliche story, and it's very short on top of that, with majory if content (completed it in 27 hours with ~80 % of total completion) being side missions and collectibles (surprisingly interesting ones). If you want good plot twist and well-developed characters, this is not a title for you. Another problem is that the game feels cramped, the maps are too small and I had a very strong feeling like the third of the game has been cut, ending was really rushed and anticlimatic. The last boss fight is laughable, sadly the "QTE final boss" thing apparently became a trend. HOWEVER I had a ton of fun and I wish it was longer, it's likely that I'll do another playtrough one day, it is a well done game, too bad it had to sacrice some areas (story, lenght) to excel in others (Nemesis system and combat). 8/10

If Black Ops 2 and Titanfall had a baby it would be Advanced Warfare. You have almost the same (no wallrun sadly) moves available but with all the mechanics and style of CoD. Pros: - Exo-moves are fun - Optimization is very good for a CoD game, equal to BLOPS 2 - Create-a-class in this CoD is the best so far - Crates dropping weapon variants and clothing for your character is a fun addition Unfortunately this CoD has some major issues Cons: - Kill streaks are the LEAST FUN in any CoD game released so far (very hard to get and just...weak) - CHEATERS !!!!! Those **** 12-year olds who **** your mom last night are back with a vengeance. Not as bad as MW 3 but enough to make me sick of playing it. - Item progression is kinda bad, some challenges required for certain attachments and camoes are very grindy, and there is no reason for it Not a bad CoD title but I may go back to BLOPS 2 after a while, killstreaks ruin it for me. This CoD is just not nearly as rewarding. 6/10

Nov 5, 2014
An amazing game that for me easily sets the bar sky high for others. The shooting mechanics are top notch, the story is outstandingly written (HUGE congratulations to the writer). It literally made me feel like crying at the end because of how well the game goes with making you CARE about the characters. And not just love the characters but ACTUALLY hate the abd guys, which is something pretty much no other game made me feel. Sure it is naive at times (very naive, making **** look rather incompetent) so some suspension of disbelief is in order. The graphics are good but not great, progression/shooting/collectibles/levels are all top notch, with multiple routes to take. There is support for both stealth and rambo gameplay although I found myself doing something in between. Enemy AI is very good, agressive and always trying to flank you in a smart (well, usually) way. The world is crafted in an epic way immersing you into the story since mission 1. There is enough guns and enemies to keep you interested till the end of ~15 h campaign. You constantly get something new to do what Blazkowicz does the best, that is kill all the **** ! There is one issue though and that would be the pacing. Sometimes I found myself grinding my teeth on a stupidly long fetch quest or wondered why the hell this great level ended so quickly. Ever wondered what would happen if **** won the war with laser guns and robots ? Wolfenstein New Order answers this perfectly. 9/10

This is a superb game. Emotional rollerocaster like no other. Perfect blend of a movie and a game, where you live through the adventure with the characters. Your choices alter the story in way you wouldn't even expect. You feel attached to the protagonist and other characters, really caring about what happens to them. The writing is extremely well done for the most part, I was finding myself thinking "Now I really would like my character to be able to do X" and almost always this wish was granted a few seconds later, like it was some kind of magic not just a game I was playing. This is of course thanks to very clever writing of Telltale team. Does it live up to the great first part ? Well, it mostly does. Some characters were less developed and sometimes (episode 5 car night scene for example) the writting seems to drop a notch. However the choices really felt like they mattered more than in season 1 which is why this is also getting a perfect 10/10. Highly recommended to everyone, not just zombie lovers !

A very good game that mixes stealth and action in a very Deus Ex'y way (which is good). The world is extremely well designed with many details and secrets to uncover. There are books and notes to read, safes to crack, items to steal/scavenge. It isn't really open-world but the mission areas are big enough to give you at least 3-4 options of getting through them. Between every mission you get to purchase supplies and upgrades to customize your character. On missions you collect runes and bone charms, and purchase supernatural powers such as time bending which really adds to your arsenal. The world does react to what you do, so if you kill people like a maniac the city will plunge into chaos and everybody will be afraid of you coming for them, if you are merciful and stealthy your quest will actually lead your character and the city into redemption. Different endings and levels changing based on your actions give it some replayablity. The story is a bit predtictable but not at all bad, and the reactions of characters to your actions really makes up for it. Voice acting, sound effects and the music are on a decent level, but don't expect anything special here. Guards' dialogues will sometimes repeat in an annoying way. Swords and guns sound flat. Graphically it looks dated, luckily you can tweak it a bit on PC in the ini file so it looks almost like vanilla Skyrim. Combat could be better, it's a little too fast and chaotic if you do not use powers, and if you do it gets ridiculously easily. Stealth is a bit silly at times, for example you get basically undetectable if you're at higher level than guards, because they never think to look up. There are a lot of "WOW" moments in the game, when you do a particulary awesome move or perform a cool assasination. It makes up for the crappy combat and meh stealth. Imo this desperately needs a sequel ! Gets an 8/10, best assassin game after Asassin's Creed.

>SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT< AFTER SEEING A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF BLATANTLY FAKE REVIEWS I CHANGED MY SCORE TO ZERO TO COUNTER THEM. Warning: This game is in alpha, but devs purpsoefully removed early-access tag to sell more copies. Even the build is called alpha verison 0.x . Be aware that this ia game made by Sergey Titov, person responsible for a scam that WarZ/Infestation was. Now my review: One of the few things I like about this game is it's great artistic style depicting a city (supposedly based on Chicago) after some heavy-duty apocalypse, too bad the interiors are pretty much non-existent and there are some crappy low-res textures scattered around (omg the vending machines, they came straight from 8-bit games or what !?). It plays like faster DayZ, which some may hate other may love, basically everyone is shooting others on sight for their gear or just for fun, making this a hardcore pvp game type. When it works it's actually fun to fight with others for survival, and of course your gear and earned xp. It has some extra features such as territory wars, loot drops and courier missions but most are poorly implemented. Still a good thing there are some extra things to do. The game features skill trees and leveling which is actually pretty ballsy (I always wanted that in DayZ) and this is definitely one of the few good points. The problem is LAZY AND ASTONISHINGLY POOR CODING. Physics are non-existent, AI pathing is so bad every monster in the game has teleport ability so they can catch up. Hitboxes ****, there are a lot of colision problems (invisible obstacles). Interiors are either placeholders or a complete joke, basically large empty room with ramps **** stairs said the devs) connecting floors. It is also full of sadly P2W MICROTRANSACTIONS, like being able to buy golden keys which open additional loot containers that you can't open without them, said keys can also be sold for large amounts of in-game money. Apart from those there are mostly cosmetic items to spice up your character. The game is troubled by massive bugs and hackers are rampant, there are occasional connection problems with the server as well as crashes to desktop. There are stupid design ideas (like every time you relog your characters teleports to a random location ) that probably stem from HARDCORE LAZINESS THE DEVS PRESENT. Not only that but also devs are idiots who removed the "early access" and "alpha" tags from the game right before steam summer sale, which obviously a scumbag move to sell more copies. NOT SURPRISING JUDGING BY THE FACT THOSE DEVS MADE WARZ. Because of this hardcore laziness, scumbag marketing and generally terrible devs the game that could've been awesome is crappy and will probably never get much better. Bad 4/10.

The problem is that this game screams low budget at every corner. >GOOD< Watch_Doges, while it does underdeliver quite a bit especially in the graphics department (no doubt downgraded so console peasants didn't feel left out), isn't really a bad game. Free roaming in the city is quite cool, the hacking while simple is satisfying and the story is acceptable. The city is a little to small but very detailed and feels truly alive, bested probably only by GTA V. Multiplayer is surpirisingly original and good, best hide and seek I've ever played ! Selection of weapons, cars and other unlockables is very good. Bugs are few but there are some issues in multiplayer connection. The bad part is for example side missions are extremely lazy and repetetive, grindy feeling they bring, game being too easy (to conform **** casuals probably), story feeling cheesy, main character being sorta underdeveloped, most minigames are plain bad and pointless (apart from unlocks), day-1 greedy DLCs marketing. Meh. It's a fun game but ruined by slopiness and greed (which game today isn't though) Gets a flat 7/10.

Bad things well, It suffers from some balance issues, and the design of USF is absolutely terrible. The new German army is much better though. Despite game having awesome map editor the devs only added a handful of new maps to ranked battes. Some more bugs after the expansion. I would score it higher but it shares the issues of the base games such as selling units/abilities as DLCs, having too few maps in ranked automatch and lack of balance. 7/10

Decent. While it's visually stunning and has a lot of content in store it has many HUGE flaws. For one, it's basically HALF **** until you decide to pay for premium (which is 50 euroes I think). Second it has ridiculously slow gridny leveling (and unlocking) forcing you to buy premium (more unlocks) or pay for unlocks (another ~40 euroes). In 6 weeks of playing it I have unlocked maybe 1/4 of what it has to offer (or buy). Third it's just not really fun. That's the biggest flaw. All the weapons are clones of each other. Maps are boring with map destruction being crap (fun to look at but it's actually a detriment to gameplay). Vehicles own everything and there is still no system for assigning them to players, so you have to camp for it and get lucky if you want one. Voice acting is surprisingly **** bad. Sound effects are pretty good, and like mentioned above graphics are of the highest possible quality, inducing erection in you for a few weeks until you get used to it. Nah for me it's a good game ruined by massive greed, just another one to add to EA's **** titles list. 6/10

I had some fun with this game but it's been a drag mostly, with no incentive to finish it. I think the worst part is the writing and the story - characters feel flat and silly, including the PC. PC is a big problem, because well, he's a dimwit. You usually play smart guys in cRPGs, that are sly and cunning. Well our main hero aka the random mercenary with nopersonal story tries to be as well but (probably unintentionally) he often comes off as mentally challenged compared to other characters that literally have to explain him what's happening. This and other issues made it impossible for me to hook up on the story and actually care. World development was such an issue - do we get a world map, a travel system, some nice books with lore ? No, nothing - just your imagination and best guess to guide you through this shallow world. The combat is the strongest part of the game, it requires a bit of thinking, looks good and controls feel responsive. Skill trees are another strong part, they are pretty well designed and you can specialize into 2h weapons, two daggers or fire magic, although you will be able to almost max out two of the trees if you do side quests. It has a lot of flaws but some well done parts too, so it would be unfair to say it's a bad game - it's not a good game either, just an average 5/10 title.

Great indie game, I played it for like 20+ hours and had a lot of fun with it. Crew and ship management which are the main parts of the game are very well designed and satisfying. The various encounters and quests are varied and well-written adding surprising level of immersion to the game. It's rouge-like nature can be a flaw sometimes. Sometimes even if you are a very good player you lose no matter what, for example you spec your ship into drones, and you find only 1 combat drone through entire campaign failing miserably. Sometimes it also can be too easy, it really depends more on luck than skill. The graphics are kinda cartoonish but this is okay in an indie game, though better graphics would make this game way more amazing. The music is epic, I listened to it outside of the game more than I played it I think, really immersive, you can find in on youtube and see if it suits your style. During the game you unlock new ships and new ships layouts which gives it a lot of replay ability. Single campaign will take you only a couple hours to complete, but it's not a problem thanks to it's rouge-like nature. What else...technically it's almost perfect as I did not encounter any major glitches or crashes. Also it's modable. There are a lot of good mods out there, mostly adding new ships but also total overhauls worth checking out. For it's very low price I can't give it any less than 8/10. It's one of the best indie games out there.

An EPIC journey ! Gameplay, graphics and story all are on equal level of epicness. It's no shame to say that Witcher 2 is the GREATEST RPG game created so far. This is not a game, it is an epic adventure to live through. I am proud to be Polish because Polish people created the Witcher. Zero major flaws, great replay value (no kidding, middle of the game is entirely diffrent depending on your choices) FREE DLCs for everyone (take notes EA games!). The only flaws are very minor problems with some locations and quests, but these are kinda unavoidable because of the project scale and present in every big RPG that came out in recent years. The only flaw is the combat which looks a bit ridiculous at times, and the fact that the game's world isn't really that open. If you don't own it yet, you are seriously missing out on a great adventure.

Titanfall7
Apr 8, 2014
Titanfall is a game that is supposed to be a "cod killer", a game that will finally wind up the stale FPS market. Mechs and parkour with CoD-like-gunplay ? That can't go wrong, can it ? Well, it actually went well - this is a GOOD GAME. It suffers a lot, however, because of the downright GREEDY marketing (60 $ with no single player and 40 $ season pass). Gameplay is brilliant both as a pilot where you run all over the map, wallrun, chain walljumps, use ziplines and rodeo enemy titans and as a titan where you blast your way through any encountered enemy. Titans work somewhat like killstreaks in CoD, but you get them even if you play very poorly, thus being better for casual players (with good score you get them faster). There is also a completely FRESH MECHANIC OF BURN CARDS which is an interesting idea, you get cards for playing matches that you can use (up to 3 per match) and they grant you for example a superior weapon, infinite grenades and similar stuff. Is it good ? Well, it replaces CoD killstreaks but honestly I prefer the killstreaks, it's just way more satisfying even if you get them rarer. Matches are only 6v6, but this is imo not an issue, as both sides get a lot of NPC grunts that serve as a targets for faster titan acquisition (sort of a crutch for weak players) and you generally get a lot of action, and thanks to NPCs even if it's clearly not your day you still feel powerful by slaughtering foot soldiers and hearing them scream in ave as they see you fight "Holy s...t did you just see what that pilot did !?". Their AI is basic and they are a pushover but still I think they fit well in Titanfall. Maps are numerous (about a dozen) and well-designed, though they do not feel unique and are similar to each other, so it's a mixed score for the maps. Complete lack of destructibility is a shame too, as it would work so well with giant titans on the battlefield. Sadly, the important thing that is player customization is non-existant (can only select gender), and the pool of weapons, perks and equipment is about 1/2 of any modern CoD/Battlefield game. This could have been done better. IT GETS STALE QUICKLY, much faster than let's say CoD, I have 200+ hours in Black Ops II whereas I have about 1/4 of that in Titanfall because THERE ISN'T ENOUGH CONTENT ! My second BIG PROBLEM with this game is LACK OF SINGLE PLAYER. Campaign COULD have been awesome, with all these mechs and alien creatures (totally scripted) we encounter on the maps, and those giant ships exploding around (scripted of course) you really missed a great opportunity there. WARNING there is a thing called ONLINE CAMPAIGN but it **** COMPLETELY those are just regular matches with scripted scenes and some dialogues running during the game but they're not even good voice actors there. Yet still, you dare charging full price for this ! Come on you sc..bags, that's downright greedy ! So you want 60 $ for you game and then 40 $ for a season pass, but you don't even care to make solid amount of guns, single player or co-op ? *Sigh* Should you buy this ? Yes if you're a multiplayer-focused FPS Player tired with BF and CoD serving you same stuff every year but be prepared for the lack of single player.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II8
Mar 15, 2014
Call of Duty game that actually tries to improve over previous ones, and does that pretty good. People giving it a low score expected...I don't know. Probably a completely different game than CoD is. We already got improved graphics, way better and more numerous killstreaks, bunch of interesting maps and futuristic theme to weapons and gear as opposed to modern theme. We got campaign with MULTIPLE FREAKING ENDINGS IN A CALL OF DUTY GAME YES THAT'S RIGHT. If this is not an improvement I dont what is. GOOD THINGS - Best (arcade) shooter mechanics out there - Deep customization supporting different combat roles (like sniper, rusher, assault, support, covert ops etc.) - Just enough unlocks to keep you from being bored - Campaignthat is pretty interesting with multiple endings - Graphical improvement over previous CoD games albeit not huge BAD THINGS - Not everyone likes CoD's arcade style of shooting and for some that's a deal breaker - If you buy this for campaign, remember that it's only 7-8 hours long (seriously, buy this for the multiplayer) - It can get boring once you get to prestige once or twice - Greedy DLC policy with most maps unavailable unless you pay another 60 $ to activision This is the greatest CoD game since Modern Warfare 1, at least for me. Highly recommended to shooter fans. Don't listen to idiots who hate it because of their tiny genitals. Gets a nice 8/10.

Probably only mech shooter on the market not counting Titanfall. For an F2P game it's very good, but compared to normal (paid) titles it's obviously lacking. Good concept but poor execution in most areas. GOOD + For an F2P game there is very little P2W here (100 % non-comsetics are grindable) + Well thought-out ideas for deployables, mechs and abilities + Mech combat is actually pretty fun and tactical with dodging and boosting BAD - It lacks the "weight" feeling when you shoot someone - Not enough variation in gameplay, few mechs, items and weapons that are hard to unlock as well - Poorly designed maps, potential achieved by giving mech "boosting" (weak flight ability) mostly unused - Generic modes (TDM, DM, Rocket assault which is really domination, Siege which is domination + capture the flag) without innovations - Weak audio, explosions sound like someone kicking a cardboard box SUMMARY If you are a kid or someone who can't afford a decent game go for it, you could have chosen worse in the F2P world. Good thing is you don't have to spend a cent on it. Average 6/10

Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity5
Mar 6, 2014
Sins of the Solar empire is a game that tries to marriage RTS and oldschool X3 genres (Homeworld meets Galactic Empires) offering us battle micromanagement as well as ruling an empire. Unfortunately, devs forgot to put little thing called FUN into this mix. GOOD THINGS - The scale is epic with many planets and stars just waiting to be conquered - Military and peaceful gamestyles are both equally well developed BAD THINGS - RTS element is a failure: There is no fun in battles in this game, you have close to zero ability to lead your troops, it's all about number of ships and specific ships countering each other, not frantic micromaganement like RTS should be - Looks like a game developed not 5, not 10, but 15 YEARS AGO; the graphics are absolutely terrible and detract from the experience with ugly UI and overflowing pixels - Annoying soundtrack that you want to turn off as soon as you start it - It just lacks juicy stuff: gameplay quikcly gets bland and repetetive no matter how you play it VERDICT Instead of throwing up SOSE expansions that almost nobody play devs should finally learn how to develop a decent game. This probably worked well on paper, but it seems nobody really thought that idea through. No idea what is up with effects being so bad, but Homeworld 2 which is a 2002ish game looks and sounds way way better. They get 5/10 for making a totally run-of-the-mill X3 game that desperately screams "I'M SPECIAL !" while really is NOT.

Fun space shooter, at least at first, that gets pretty generic and boring. Not terrible but not great. GOOD - Outstanding soundtrack that gave me chills when I was playing first few missions - Classic space-shooter with thrilling action and 0 BS included - Great controls which is very important in this genre (used keyboard+mouse) BAD - Customization is very shallow and limited for seemingly no reason - Once you get used to action, missions get boring and repetetive - Weak plot and characters It wasn't a bad game per se just not very good, it lacked something that would make me think this product is special and deserves higher score. If possible I'd give it a 6.5/10 instead of 6. Recommended for space shooters fans that don't care about plot.

Beyond: Two Souls7

It was enjoyable, but not nearly as much as Heavy Rain or Fahrenheit. For those that don't know these are games of same people that made this one. Those previous games were less about saving the world (Fahrenheit was, but only near the ending, which **** horribly anyway) and more about characters dealing with their falling apart for some reason. It was about interaction between different characters - here you only play Jodie&Aiden. It lacked...I don't know...intrigue? Something to keep you on your toes. Maybe it was because the story was presented this awkwardly - it ruined my immersion sometimes. Interesting way to present a story, but I think it was too fragmented and would prefer chronological presentation. QTE were much bettter than thier previous games without **** flashing colors Fahrenheit had. Nice job here. Jodie is an interesting character, and Aiden too, I'm glad they've explained WHY Aiden was with her all the time. Other characters felt really nicely developed too ! I especially liked Nathan and Cole, yeah they were probably a little bit cliche, but still great characters. They wrapped up the plot nicely. Multiple endings of which most made sense. Potential hint of future sequel maybe ? It gets a solid 7/10 from me. And for those who are bashing this game for its story....maybe try Call of Duty. Something with a story more fit for your intellectual possibilities.

The problem this game has, it is trying to be all at once. It is trying to be an FPS (well in third person), but the guns feel so vanilla and unrealistic they feel like BB guns. Is is trying to be a tactical game, yet your teammates AI is so bad that it's a lottery whether they do what you want or do something silly to get them killed. It is trying to be an Xcom game it feels as such in the beginning but it lacks base building, researching technologies, basically everything that Xcom games are loved for. The plot is very poorly written, I expected a cheesy plot but this was far worse than I expected combined with boring cardboard characters. Levels are designed terribly, CoD level of linear gameplay yet far less epic action filling the screen. The best comparison here is probably to Mass Effect series gameplay-wise, with much worse level design but more tactical options (when it works Everything is the world is static, there is no destruction of environment. Enemies are your standard FPS baddies nothing unusual here (ME had it better). No multiplayer coop even though it would really fit. Badly designed UI designed for consoles. If this game was released 5-6 years ago it might stand a chance. Right now I don't recommend getting it unless it's in a humble bundle or something. Sure there is some fun but overall not much.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition2
Feb 23, 2014
This POS is the only game I rated so low on Metacritic. This is A BLATAN CONSOLE RIP with extremely unresponsive controls. Targeting system is horrible, there is a lock system mechanic that just PLAIN AND SIMPLE DOES NOT WORK. Examples: - you press E to force-push a weakened enemy and your character turns around striking an enemy across the room instead, ignoring the auto-lock - you throw an explosive container at an enemy, and instead of throwing forwards it throws it to the left or right to hit another container because targeting system thinks you always want to hit the closest target when throwing (because logic is overrated) While the game does have some potential and nice animations, particle effects and what not, I just couldn't get myself to enjoy it with keyboard and mouse. Whoever was in charge of making the PC port FUDGED IT UP COMPLTELY. Also I expected numerous glitches with level geometry, disappearing textures and what not. This is not worth your money nor your time.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag7
Dec 24, 2013
I tried to not feel disappointed on this one but I was. a lot. In some aspects Black Flag is an utter failure but in others it's amazingly well done and outshine the previous games in the series by far. The bad thing: Modern Abstergo plot I'm a fan of Assassin's Creed series and I think what they did with the plot is total BS. I'm talking about the modern-day plot not getting into spoilers here, it was absolutely terrible, both the idea and the execution of it. This was the most disappointing part. Another bad thing: GLITCHES, ARMY OF THEM Every part of the game is filled with minor glitches, patches fix a lot of them but it's super-common for camera to go crazy or the character having problems with scalling a 0,5 meters tall fence, or character falling to the ground in combat for no reason, or weapons clipping and animations **** get the idea I hope. It's just very rough on the edges. Last but not least: Controls It's obvious they are meant for consoles and they **** on PC. It's very hard to control character when free running or in combat. No target lock. Weird aiming (at least we finally have it implemented). Now to the good part: The World The world is HUUUGE. There are some reused assets but it's still a pleasure to explore new places and gather those little collectibles that I never cared about before. Also good: The visuals This game is beautiful and there is no denying of it, and it's pretty well optimized aside from some FPS issues, but I was able to almost max it out on GTX 570. Surprisingly good job Ubisoft. I'm not really going into details because you can google them...I don't care. Mixed feelings, best get it on sale.

Garbage compared to the previous part. Worse controls (not a very good console port), graphics look silly and too colorful but still dated, story was cool in the 1st one here it is really dumb with an extremely unlikable protagonist. Terrible progression model based on **** collectibles!!! REALLY??? Great progression from 1st one ripped and turned into turd. Good things? Some new features compared to the first one like tearing miniguns of choppers. Not recommended for fans of Prototype 1 but for those who want action-packed game on their screens and don't want to get first one yeah go for it it gets 6/10.

Truly epic game, the free-roam mode is what makes it beast, you really feel badass jumping **** and watching entire US Army trying to stop you and fail miserably. RPGish progress where you spent evolution points on power upgrades and new tricks is well done. Surprisingly the story is pretty good as well, Mercer HAS A PERSONALITY on his own although he is not a guy you'd like to be friends with Lol, and there is a decent plot twist as well. The graphics were dated when this game was released now they are pretty crappy but that does not take from awesomeness of the game and it can run on low-end computers. Flaws? Well the graphic for once, dumb side-missions, repetetive NPC models making you feel like in clone wars. Nothing major. It gets a solid 9/10.

Assassin's Creed III6
Dec 3, 2013
As Assassin's Creed fan I expected more. This is a huge downgrade from previous games. Extremely buggy and unpolished, even after multiple patches. Combat is streamlined and way too easy. One of the good things is that AC 3 looks stunning, both the combat and landscape. The new protagonist is dull and unlikable. The story inside the animus is mediocre but the story outside is extremely dumb and lacking. The gameplay has been dumbed down and is worse than Revelations, less smooth. I love the American setting, it's realistic and immersive but cities were not designed well, stealth is frustrating and navigating through cities quickly is a chore more often than not. It has many mini-games but most aren't interesting at all except maybe naval combat which was pretty damn good. Overall it's a huge let down and it gets only 6/10.

Awesome story, Ezio Auditore is one of the best characters ever created in a video game. Great stealth and combat, extremely detailed setting. Graphics are still decent even though a few years passed since release. It has some small design problems to it which prevent it from getting a higher score. A classic game that any true gamer should try, earns an 8/10 but it would get 10 if the review was about story alone.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition9
Dec 3, 2013
The Witcher. I already knew Witcher books before the game came out, so when I saw it on a store shelf I grabbed it without hesitation. This was the right choice. I completed the game 2 times, with different choices. The story is very mature and interesting. This is not a fairy-tale-like RPGish nonsense, it's based on Witcher books which are one of the best European dark fantasy series. Geralt is my favorite character ever in a video game, closely followed by Ezio Auditore. Other characters very also very memorable. The game offers you a decent size world to explore, but filled with quests, interesting characters and mini-games like epic brawls in pubs. It never feels empty. The monsters are unique to the series, you won't meet any stereotype zombies and vampires. The combat system lacks somewhat, as it's very easy even on hard difficulty. It's backed up by excellent alchemy system, each potion really matters and have unique and powerful effects. Creating them is surprisingly satisfying, and since you can have only a few active due to them being toxic you need to choose carefully. There are also firecrackers and oils, so the crafting system is pretty robust. Your character gains talents that are basically skill points, skill trees are HUGE but not overwhelming and each skill does something different and interesting. As a bonus the game comes with a level editor so you can play player-created maps and quests after finishing the main story line. So does the Witcher have any flaws? Well the voice acting of main characters is superb, but minor characters very often have same voices, which is somewhat annoying. Also like I mentioned above combat is very easy once you grasp the basics. The world could have been bigger, it often feels like you don't have much space to breathe although it's never empty ! Worse than the second part in the series, but still a great game on it's own it earns a 9/10

There was some laughs (Woodsman's confession cracked me up LOL), there is mystery, but MOST IMPORTANTLY there is a kick right in the feels, done in perfect fashion. No game has induced such a strong feeling of a loss in me so far (maybe except dying in DayZ but that was smt very different), I swear just a bit more and I would burst in **** transform into a Big Bad Werewolf and go onto a killing spree, don't know what's worse. Fallout: New Vegas8
Nov 12, 2013
Quick summary: A very good game that can be great if you can overlook some of it's flaws, probably most open-worlded game aside from TES games. You might not like the game's not-very-serious approach and poor level design. Focus was put on RPG part of the game rather than the Action part. Heavily modable which is a great asset. For the current price it is worth it. New Vegas is a worthy sequel to Fallout 3, a game with it's own unique feel like no other game. The problem is do you like this particular feel For a post-apocalyptic themed game New Vegas is a very lively place. Everywhere you go you find a new location, meet a new NPC or fight new enemies. It almost feels like an atomic war never happened except for burned out ruins covering the land and Geiger counter ticking from time to time. The unique feels largely come from the fact that in this alternate world, when the atomic war happened the world culturally was in the 50s (although technology was much more advanced), and this lead to creation of a strange setting to say at least, full of tremendously absurd and bizarre stuff. I personally do not like this light-hearted approach and would prefer a more serious approach to the post-apo topic, with a darker and heavier atmosphere (think Metro 2033). The game offers you a vast world and almost total freedom. You are free to shoot anyone you like, make friends and enemies as you see fit, go anywhere and take anything you want and the world will react to your actions. While this is sounds and definitely is cool, the obvious issue this brought up is the world feeling kinda plastic, not often reacting to your character's actions like it should, which is why you will find yourself sticking to some pre-defined paths more often than not, just to avoid breaking immersion, although if you played F3 you will find here a great improvement over that title. The Action part of this Action-RPG is not very good. Enemies are mostly braindead, rushing you with meele weapons or just standing in plain sight shooting you. Cover system is non-existant at all. Guns and weapons in general do very little damage decereasing the immersion further it's just not immersive when you have to shoot someone wearing casual clothes 10 times in the chest to kill him. Here we come to probably the greatest problem of this game, which is the difficulty level. Even played on very hard the game is just not hard, there isn't any challenge awaiting for you. You faceroll absolutely everything, being a one man army even if you do not pick combat skills, even at lowest levels. It's funny when a squad professional soldiers armed to the teeth warn you to stay away from a certain place because it is full of bandits and they are waiting for reinforcements to take them out, while you can just walk in there on level 1 and stomp them even on very hard of course after you get out they react like nothing has happened, making the world feel shallow and plastic. Levels are designed terribly, with reused assets everywhere, repeatable locations and cut into cells so small it's often laughable. I know this game is a bit old, but still you see the obnoxious loading screen way too often while travelling through Mojave. If you want to snipe enemies from distance or storm a building full of raiders you can't because the world is basically made of hundreds/thousands of tiny cells, each building floor (sometimes even single rooms) being separated with a loading screen. Wonderful ! The GOOD THING about Fallout:NV is the massive amount of content. There are so many quests and dialogues in this game, so many types of guns, enemies etc. that you won't be bored quickly. There are many ways to solve each quest and obstacle, adding replayability as you can't spec into everything in one game unless you cheat. And there are mods that add even more ! Overall I give this game a good 7/10, spent a good chunk of time in this world, I'm just not into this crazy wacky theme Fallout games have, and this game had many other issues but it was still fun for a long while. Recommended for Fallout veterans, RPG fans, not really for FPS fans or people who like serious approach.

Hate me if you will or even remove my thread if you're a mod but you can't deny I have good reasons to be disappointed. Only CoD game that I thought was bad so far was MW 3 but this one is a piece of trash !! Well, it's hideous even though I run it on high specs I run Battlefield 4 on ultra but I have to run this on high, what the I wanted to make a screenshot but steam doesn't let me do screenshots in this game probably because IW didn't want to see their BS get viral so more people buy this. IT LOOKS WORSE THAN BLACK OPS 2 AND RUN WORSE. SERIOUS HERE. It plays like It keeps crashing, lagging, kicking out of matches, freezing and what-not. Mouse-accel checked. Getting shoot from nowhere checked. Invincible lagged enemies- checked. Everything you can imagine is bad for an FPS game is there in force !! No FOV slider for PCs 60 FOV is about 1/3 of normal human FOV and 1/2 of what previous CoDs and every decent FPS there offers. It makes the game super-easy for campers, and you get continously shot from the sides and back. Of course there is FOV option in-game but IW decided to block that for PCs, probably because they hate PC players. Killstreak rewards are super-boring compared to the old cod games. Oracle system? Really, a built-in wallhack? You gotta be kidding me here IW. It's not exactly OP it is just extremely annoying when enemy got Oracle, and you (usually) don't know about it. Guard dogs that kill you from 6 meters? Lol and I thought the K9 was OP, and that was for almost 20 kills, not freaking 6 kills like in Ghosts. Every killstreak reward out there is either OP, or boring, or both. I don't realy have incentive to obtain them. The maps. Well the maps are bigger and I really like that. The dynamic element that was added is also good. Too bad they are still "1 step forward, 2 step backwards". Why? Because most of the maps are camper's heaven especially with 60 FOV madness. In BLOPS 2 campers were a rare occurance here they are on every server. No dedicated servers bad net-code. You are constantly thrown into lagged hell, or can't connect at all. Needless to say it's another middle finger pointed towards PC players by infinity ward. Squad mode is a joke, I am not sure why they put that in, it was a waste of time and code. Those are nothing more than bot matches, with crappy AI as usual, but they net you same XP as multiplayer matches. What the f... !? About the campaign, well it's barely playable, much more unstable than multiplayer. I managed to play through a large part of it, and it's the same as every CoD. A few new tricks here and there, but it's the same run'n'gun as always. Except it's even shorter, takes about 6 hours to beat if you are not constanly crashing like I do. 6 hours of decent fun for 60 Lol no thanks. Overall there are some good things to say about CoD. Like bigger maps or new game modes. But this is all nothing compared to massive problem cod has, caused by activision incredible level of greed and iw's hate towards PC players. Should you buy it If you are a dumb CoD fanboy, yes. If you are a CoD fan, No, you will be disappointed If you like FPS in general, No, stick to Battlefield or CS:GO or previous CoD games just not this one. My score to this piece of trash is 3/10, for an AAA game this is terrible, not worth half of that cash.
