What can I say for my favourite game of all time. This DLC didn't disappoint. The map was much larger than I expected and just as many secrets to find, plenty of new weapons, armours and skills to obtain. The visuals and art style went next level for the pure ascetic look. And man some of the bosses really turned up the hard levels on us. Especially if you go in during a new game plus run, makes it even tougher. With the amount of hours I've put into the DLC, it feels like an entire seperate games worth. Highly recommend.
Ghost of Tsushima was one of my favourite games of all time top 10 for sure. Playing ghost of yoeti and the improvements are great.
They took all the feedback and added what we needed. The world is even more beautiful than GoT, the combat is more refined. The story is suprisingly good and isnt just a plain revenge tale. Easily does it better than what assassin's creed shadows did. The visuals and performance are top tier. 60fps at 4k Pssr with Ray Tracing. Everything I bought the Ps5 Pro for.
Giving it less than a perfect score would be criminal. I platinumed the game with 130 hours in my first play through. I didn't even pre order or buy it at launch as I never played the first game. I was sold on the game through word of mouth from friends and their opinion on why the game had upgraded and changed over the first game. I watched an 8 hour cut scene video from the first game for the story and lore, which gave me everything I needed for the sequel. The visuals (playing on ps5 pro) are the Best I've ever seen and it's at 60fps. Story was brilliant and had me going through all the emotions.Gameplay was insanely fun and fulfilling. As much action as you want, enemy bases for you to attack with weapons, stealth or melee combat. The environment was something special with so many vistas and weather events to challenge you. I'm currently 10 hours into a second playthrough, offline only and no shared worlds. Doing everything on foot, building no roads and taking no vehicles. Feels more gritty and tactile this way. Probably the way it's intended to be played.
If you are a star wars fan, you need to play this game. You will dive deep into the star wars feeling worlds, of which there are many planets,space stations to visit. The shooting is fun, riding a speeder is fun, but you need to learn how the bike controls and upgrade it. The stealth can be forced on you a few times, but it's easy to you can speed through them, only getting caught if you don't use ur brain. Being able to enter your ship,takeoff into space, fly around in space battles or dock at imperial stations or cartel owned space ****'s very immersive. You can then pick a planet and activate hyperdrive to go there. But if you want to just travel to new planets instantly you can use fast travel.Quality of life for sure. The whole vibe of star wars is everywhere, seeing all the alien species, the lore is everywhere, and free roam around iconic planets let me visit Luke's home on Tatooine, go Inside Jabba's place,Iside a sarlac pit, being chased by a krate dragon. Highly recommend.
Another Playstation Banger, the hits just keep coming. If this is the quality of Sony's live service games, then we have nothing to worry about. The actions is fun and intense. So many planets and enemies to fight. The upgrade path is great,lots of weapons for you and your ship to use.Haven't had this much fun in a MP game in years.
Such a meh game. Can’t even fly down to planets, so much for a space game where planets r just flat picture boxes. Zones on planets have boundaries so it’s not explorable. Just another tod Howard lies game.
Why this game was even made is beyond me. Who ever decided this was what should be done with LOTR content should be fired. I told everybody when it was announced it was a waste of time and would be bad.
Story was amazing, gameplay was impressive and a big step up from 2018s already great gameplay. New worlds, enemies, boss battles on an epic scale like older GoW games. The wait was worth it.
9 year wait for this garbage! Terrible performance issues, bugs, shallow gameplay, loot/Grind gameplay is horrible, dialogue is horrendous. Boring lifeless open world. Beaten by every single Arkham game from decades ago.
IGN has used the phrase “step in the right direction” for their madden reviews every year for the last decade. So yeah the game is a zero because no matter how many times the Reviewers try to say it’s a “step in the right direction” its well known to be a cash grab with zero improvements. Just a casino with football skins but worse as this casino only pays out for the house.
First fromsoft game and it’s already one of my fav games of all time. Didn’t buy at launch, but glad I got it now. Not dying to any boss 30 times over really made me enjoy the game more. Only the final boss took me awhile to figure out. Game is just so good for fantasy lovers, the magic powers gives you a very fulfilling Gandalf/dr strange game.
DRM needs to die. physical or digital single player game but u can't play for 24 hours because their servers go down. unacceptable. for a racing game that's so perfect at the game part, it gets a 0 score for drm. take that away and its a 9/10
Dont listen to the Cheap gamers on here who can't possibly part ways with $10. you get 2 games for 1 $10 upgrade if you own either of the games, what a deal. if you dont own either game, u can find them cheap on disc then pay $10 for the ps5 upgrade, such a steal. these games came out in 2016/17 and thy look better than most next gen games released now. The cheap gamers act like the game is just a 60fps patch. Its much more than that, 30fps at 4k, 60fps at 1440p which looks very close to the native 4k in the game and then a 1080p 120fps mode. add in the 3D audio which is truly awesome in this game, the duel sense features and the game actually gets a visual upgrade in texture details, edge enhancement and pop in details (draw Distance) are all improved. its not just the same game as b4, its upgraded and has never looked better.
A Pure 10/10 that anyone can give. such an upgrade over doom 2016, i wish i played these games earlier. but getting the PS5 upgrade for doom eternal was worth the wait, Ray Tracing mode, georgus. 120fps mode, man this game was built for 120fps and the graphics didnt take a huge hit being 120fps either. everything about this game was next level. cant believe anyone gave it a negative review, prob journalists who didnt have Journo mode engaged for difficulty.
great story and vocie acting, visuals and performance were top notch. but that ending really stunk it up, even though theres tons of replay ability i havnt gone back since i beat the story.
ive played this game 3 times from start to finish including all the extra content and this game keeps giving me new experiences. and 3 times is probably small fries for this fandom. my 4th time will be on ps5 next gen in 2022.
story is right up there with the greats, game play is on another level. sure did my fav character die, yup. does it matter, ****, because im on the writer and its not my game. i dont go into games demanding them to fit exactly what i want story wise. that would be boring. im glad i avoided the spoilers, and my ego isnt fragile like all the man babies online. game of the year indeed.
maybe its just the island setting but i had a blast, i was so bored during far cry 4 and 5. and those settings were terrible. this is my 2nd fav far cry after 3. but yes the game is very same same as all far cry games. some new additions were good. looked great at 4k with 60fps. at least it worked at release unlike some games these days. story was kinda meh tho.
The devs really let us down with this one. so many features missing, very buggy, graphics glitches and the game crashes are unacceptable. this is not the batttlefield we remember.
Don't Believe the NEW FAKE SCORES. as soon as embargo dropped, all these "reviews" came form salty people who didnt even buy or play the dlc with ps5 features. I bought the DLC with the ps5 upgrade and its a GAME changer. 3D Audio is so impressive for this game, Haptic Feedback makes every blade strike feel real, moving around and horse riding is a blast, even putting your sword back in its sheath feels real. you can feel the steel go inside the hollow case. its so real. The 4k resolution looks beautiful on my OLED tv, its so beautiful in HDR. and those are just some of the ps5 improvements. its 60fps at 4k, amazing. the DLC itself is so good, so much new stuff. new ways to play, just brilliant. i wont spoil anything. play it yourself.
