This season is the worst for sure, but still not that bad. The first 2 episodes weren't too bad with it carrying over the character Dean from one of the last episodes of last season. Unfortunately we don't see him at all after that. Then we get characters like Anthony (replacement for Tom Hanson) and Joey (Doug Penhall's brother) who is a character that I actually liked. The new characters definitely take some getting used to, and the episodes get better towards the end.

This show is really good, even though it is a bit dated. It has a really interesting premise of undercover cops going into high schools and busting criminals. This is different from most cop shows, simply because of the fact that they are undercover in pretty much every episode, which is really interesting to watch. Minus a couple episodes, this was a very good season.

This season is when the show starts to jump the shark a little bit. The episodes are a little slow-paced and not even that interesting. Even some of the best episodes feel a little slow at times, but it rarely feels that way. It doesn't even feel like the characters have grown up or learned from their mistakes, and some have become very whiny and annoying i.e.) Judy Hoffs. Also, the main character (Tom Hanson) is rarely in this season, which many people didn't like. It would have been nice to have Booker come back at least, and he probably could have made this season better, but they gave his character a spin off which went on during the time that this season was going on.

This just might be the best season (in my opinion). There is a new character introduced, named Dennis Booker. He is my favorite character, because he is great at his job and very different from the other characters. This season may have a some not-so-great episodes, but most episodes are great and probably some of the best in the series.
