The game almost lost me entirely, but the second half redeemed it to a certain degree. However, there’s no sugarcoating it: the story is a disaster. The Story: The plot is barely coherent, detached from its cast, and tonally inconsistent. The protagonist is insufferable—whiny, immature, and lacking any meaningful growth. He’s a caricature of the worst anime tropes. The supporting cast isn’t much better: A mostly silent pet hamster. A girlfriend who occasionally shows up but contributes little. A stoic "Western hero" stereotype with minimal depth. A science girl who has personality but isn’t even part of the main party. With such a weak lineup and no development or likability, their presence feels like a waste of time. The open-ended conclusion only amplifies the frustration. Gameplay: The mechanics manage to salvage the experience—barely. The combat starts rough. Early-game accuracy issues make basic attacks unreliable, and the low MP pool forces you to rely on them anyway, adding to the frustration. Fortunately, the second half improves significantly. Accuracy problems fade, and MP limitations ease up, making battles more enjoyable. Optional content is the real saving grace. From side quests and superbosses to minigames and collectibles, the game channels FF7 and Yakuza-style variety, which injects life into an otherwise lifeless core story. Final Thoughts: While the gameplay holds potential and the optional content stands out, the incoherent story and poorly written characters weigh it down. With so many exceptional RPGs available, it’s hard to see why this one gets so much praise. It’s not a bad game, but it doesn’t rise above mediocrity, either.

Feels more like a prototype rather than an actual game. While I stopped liking Persona games after the third one for personal reasons, I'm overall, a fan of the concept. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it to anyone. It’s not a finished game, its flaws run deep, and there are so many of them I, honestly, don't even know where to start: Unfinished Systems Every system feels incomplete or underdeveloped. No Manual Saves: The game relies on autosaves, and you must walk around to trigger them. Barebones Menus: There’s no status screen. To check skills or XP, you need to enter combat or manually track progress with pen and paper. Broken Time Management: Summer lasts indefinitely, and you can grind endlessly for money or max out stats early with no penalties. Even endgame equipment is available from the start. Quests Lack Rewards: Completing quests often results in nothing but a checkmark. NPCs don’t acknowledge your efforts, and later-game puzzles just hand over rewards without effort. Lackluster Social Links: Only four exist, and unlimited time removes any strategic decision-making. The gift system adds little beyond a couple of lines of dialogue. Combat Frustrations: The "one more" system is random, planning feels pointless, and high miss rates can lead to absurd streaks of failures. Status effects dominate but are unreliable, and bosses are immune to most strategies, reducing fights to repetitive slugfests. In a genre known for deep stories and meaningful character arcs, this game feels hollow. The story borrows heavily from Persona but lacks understanding of its thematic depth. Dialogue feels like it was written by ai for majority of the time. It honestly reminds me the one of ps1 final fantasies, and this is *not* a complement. Character arcs are predictable, with lessons learned as basic as "bullying is bad." The 1960s setting is surface-level, riddled with anachronisms and modern sensibilities. Walkie-talkies with unlimited range and 2020s-styled dialogue break immersion. The pixel art is excellent, and the music, while disjointed, is enjoyable. But these strengths can’t carry the game when the core experience is this flawed. It feels like a cash grab—nice aesthetics masking a lack of depth and polish. This game had the building blocks for greatness but collapses under incomplete systems, shallow mechanics, and a phoned-in story. It’s hard to imagine patches fixing such foundational issues. Save yourself the disappointment and play something else.

No one is going to read my review amyway, so here is lyrics analysis from the opening song: Ah, what a truly evocative piece you've shared with me today. It's a Japanese text, rich with imagery and emotion, undoubtedly a lyrical canvas that paints a story of loss, transience, and perhaps, a bittersweet acceptance. Let us delve into these verses with the tenderness and the respect they **** opening lines speak to us of a bird traversing the sky, surrendering itself to the undulating waves of the wind. This is not simply a description of nature; it is a metaphor for the human condition. We, like the bird, are often carried by forces beyond our control, dancing on the currents of fate or circumstance. This bird is in pursuit of something beyond the night's darkness, beyond where the moon sinks. It is a quest for enlightenment, for a future that lies just out of reach, obscured by the unknown."Ah, shall we go? If it's with you, I can go anywhere" - this line is imbued with a profound sense of companionship and the courage it instills. The presence of another allows us to face the vastness of the future without trepidation. The speaker's heart is reflected in the eyes of the other, a mirror of emotional resonance and unspoken **** next stanza introduces the motif of the sea, a timeless symbol of the subconscious and the eternal ebb and flow of life itself. The advice to listen is an invocation to be present, to attune oneself to the rhythm of the universe, to be in harmony with the passage of time. The act of placing a blossoming flower in someone's hair is intimate, a gesture that imbues a fleeting moment with beauty and significance. However, the song's melody, created by human voices, carries a sadness, a testament to countless farewells and the eventual fading of all things. The warmth and poignancy of touch are fleeting, urging the listener to surrender to the moment, to the direction of their **** protagonist continues their journey, seemingly in search of something lost, even in the absence of their companion. The song they walk with becomes a solace, a partner in solitude. The music left behind is carried on the eternal winds, an echo that seeks to resonate until the very edges of existence. The beloved exists only within the never-ending memories, and yet, the speaker remains compelled to follow where their heart **** visage of the beloved forever resides within the heart, offering an everlasting peace that transforms into song. The melody carried by the wind and the warmth left behind are eternal, enduring until the end of the speaker's days. This piece, laden with poetic devices such as personification, metaphor, and symbolism, echoes the works of classical poets who muse upon the themes of nature and human emotion. The prose is reminiscent of the haunting beauty found in the lyrics of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," where the intertwining of the sacred and the profane gives voice to the complexity of human **** conclusion, this song is a meditation on the impermanence of life and love, the strength found in shared experiences, and the indelible mark left by those we hold dear. It is a hymn to the enduring power of memory and music, to the solace found in the cyclical nature of existence, and to the ceaseless pursuit of meaning amidst the bittersweet passage of time.

Bloated, cramped and overloaded. It will be suitable for those who appreciate the sandbox component with the ability to create music, writing, and derive their own chemical/physical laws instead of actually, you know, saving the world, but that’s all - absolutely not what I play jRPG for. The amount of saves scumming the game encourages somehow surpasses even the third Baldurs Gate.

An incredibly boring title that absolutely fails in comparison to its parent indie jrpg, chained echoes. The gameplay loop is incredibly boring with anemic combat, almost zero customization, repetitve qte's and, while I understand that devs were trying to go for adventure games like firs couple of Lunars and Grandias the vibe just isn't there. I have no idea why this is so highly rated.

Street Fighter V got a lot of backlash back in the day for being too complex and lacking proper tutorials, piss-poor story, lack of sngle player content and content in general since its first launch. Not gonna lie; it was very brow-rising to see all those complaints considering those are standart issues for pretty much every figthing game ever. Nevertheless, I'm glad Capcom has gone so far to adress every one of those complaints. The single player content will get you occupied for 30+ hours, and World Tour very reminiscent of a Conquest mode of old 3d mortal combat games. While it's still not on par with something like dissidia in terms on quanity, I think it's still justifies its price. World Tour is also a great way to learn pretty much all of game mechanics and character playstyles without much of chore and has a nice rpg system. While the story isn't really something to write home about, it doesn't really need to be one. After all, SF always leaned more into campy saturday morning cartoon, so I'm glad they went all in, as it offers pretty upbeat story and a lot of fanserive thanks to ability to literally date iconic SF characters. Additionally urban aesthetic was a pleasant change of pace. Kinda a riddle to me why only now Capcom decided to embrace a *street* aspect considering this word in a literal title, but hey, I'm glad they finally did. And, of course, there are multitude other game modes, both multiplayer and single-player, and thanks to large player base this game will most likely stay alive unless Capcom willm anage to screw things up in the following updates (which is highly unlikely considering the winning streak they on lately). Oh and PC port is above average of what we are getting these days. So overall so far my impressions are extremely positive. Not sure how exactly this keeps up but I hope it will become even better in future updates. Whether you are a fighting game fan or a normie -- i recommend this title all the same.

This game is good, but it has SO much amount of terrible and convoluted rip-offish design choices, that are just preventing it for being superb. I always liked Chaos Rings series for being simple and fun. In this part, however developers are tried to evolve it into something bigger by adding nomerous game mechanics from other games (shin megami tensei, legend of zelda, etc). Sounds fun, right? Well, it would be, if developers were knowing how to correctly put all pieces together. Weapon system is convluted, gene combining is convoluted and by clearing the first 3 zones fully you will find 3 rare genes that are so good that u can actually clear the whole game with them! Furthemore, what the hell mmo elements are doing here? Like multiple kinds of money or daily bonus or premium account and etc? This is still good game that worth its money, but i think it could be better if it would passed proper testing. Never the less, looking forward for the next part!

If there is a games, that I do not wanted ever to be released, it is Apollo justice and dual destinies. Why? Because the story is perfectly ended in the Trials and Tribulations, and Instead to finish it, developers decided to make a new once with new characters and features. First of all, I was very disappointed seeing a new technology in this game. It is not a type that needed a new graphics and anime cutscenes. But the most disappointing thing is a new characters. No matter how developers will try to shoehorn them, they are no match for the old ones. May be I am sceptical, but it is hurts to see that Phoenix treats his apprentices like Fey sisters. As you may guess, the gameplay has not changed a bit. It is still the same, with a little new features. Overall, I wish I could not ever know about this two series ever existed, because after the ending of the original trilogy, the turn of events in these games had disappointed me very much.

After a few hours of gameplay, I need to say that this game is not bad at all after all. Although everything is simple here, I must say it was fun. The battle system has its advantage, it's doesn't require hard thinking instead of final fantasy, but it's quite interesting. The storyline... Well, I guess it's for child, everything is too good to be true, but somehow it got interest u in it, and so on. A classic jrpg, in one word

To be honest, the game is so-so. The storytelling is good, despite of everything other. The gameplay is quite poor. It's poorly copy-past the famous resident evil series, and contains no puzzles, no interesting enemies. So we are getting half novel story-telling, half shooting game very similar to Max Payne, and to be honest it doesn't justify my expectation. I pretty sure that you will get more fun by playing in resident evil or silent hill.

Calling the game best in AppStore just because of graphics is foolishness. It's empty, pointless and not interesting. I am very pity of you, guys, for liking this "game". Really. All of it you just fights the foes in the uninteresting batlle, and each 5 mins you begin the game again again and again. It's not a game. It's just silly test of ue3.
