Prior to seeing this movie, I was very skeptical about this new 'remake' of the classic Annie. I thought that they had changed too much (the name of Oliver Warbucks changed to William Stacks, etc), which originally made led me to the conclusion that I would not see the movie. I ended up going anyways with a friend, and I must say- I take back all former remarks about this new Annie movie, as it was phenomenal. I was shocked to see such a low score here on MetaCritic, so here I am to contribute my positive review of this amazing film.

Having just seen this movie recently, I was thoroughly pleased with this film. The plot was captivating, and the acting was phenomenal. The ending was quite the twist, and I certainly am looking forward to Part Two!
