This is a review of the re-release of The Sims 2 Legacy Collection. The UI is a blurry mess, countless new and old bugs. Pink stripes line the edges of UI thumbnails (hello, The Sims 3 64-bit on Mac), crashes are frequent, sound quality is poor, content has been cut, pets disappear, and beaches are broken - the list goes on. The game is simply unplayable. They managed to ruin something that wasn’t even broken, something that could have been fixed with just one tool - Graphic Rules Maker - and a simple mod that FIX shadows. That’s it! Yet, somehow, they still made sure to put their names above Will Wright in the credits. This is the end.
