A decent anime adaptation of a western comic. It isn't the same as the comic book but the idea and story is similar. Good animation, great well written characters and decent dubbing (well, as good as can be expected.) A real shame that it is only 1 season as you do get very attached to all the characters, even the villains. If I had to have one gripe about the series is that Masane (the leading lady) is perhaps (I cant believe I'm actually complaining about this) a bit too well endowed. Granted it is used more comic effect than anything else so at least it is aware of this and plays with it (not literally, of course.) Overall: Witchblade is perhaps one of the better anime series I've seen in recent times and a shame it didn't go on for longer.
