I didn’t expect to get this hooked. It leans into its pulp roots but knows when to slow down and take itself seriously. Action, demons, religious conspiracies — and a lead performance from Alba Baptista that keeps everything **** looks better than many give it credit for. Filmed in Spain, it benefits from striking locations and a different visual texture than the usual dark-fantasy template. That authenticity adds ****’s not groundbreaking. Faith, powers and young-adult conflicts aren’t new ingredients. Some storylines work better than others, and a few lines of dialogue feel flat. But when it focuses on character dynamics and lets the action breathe, it’s genuinely compelling.Energetic, stylish and more thoughtful than expected.

A lot of fake 10/10 comments, coz that's what Netflix does when it starts losing ground. Automatic zero. Ofc it's the economy's fault, not that they dropped creativity to make cr@p. So this is just another teen with powers show, nothing special. The main actress has potential (cute, expressive face) but needs some (or a lot of) acting classes. If she ever manages to tone down her narcissism. Coz seducing a couple of fossil producers with her lolita looks doesn't mean she's on top of the world. On the contrary ^^

The premise somehow melds sam raimi evil dead loopy with trite "the omen" hogwash in a bearable way, first couple of episodes with alba baptista learning how to be a real girl is something I've never seen before. Young cast looks like they are having fun together. Reminds me of van helsing, overdone tropes made fresh for at least the first half season, though, beware season 2.

Another disappointing and badly written show that ticks all the woke boxes but none of the entertainment ones. This Netflix bore will only appeal to the simple folk out there who don't demand very much from their streaming shows, or probably anything for that matter - 1 star

The Season 1 had amazing build up, and Season 2 is mind blowing. The characters, the CGI, the cinematography, comedies, fight scenes, everything is just perfectly made. Best show in 2022.

Everyone please go watch and stream this show nonstop to get it renewed (muting doesn't count as a view) also go rate seasons on IMDB/ rotten tomatoes and metacritic. Warrior Nun is truly a rare show. It flawlessly blends an interesting plot, punchy action sequences, detailed world building, complex characters, commentary on the blurred line between science and religion together to create an incredible fantasy show, not to mention one of the best slowburn ships (sapphic or otherwise) ever seen on tv. After the recent cancellations of other sapphic content (e.g. the wilds, first kill…), a renewal would be extremely meaningful to a community that feels increasingly underrepresented and undervalued in current television media, while other mlm content such as heartstopper gets double renewals with little to no effort despite warrior nun performing better. Please help us to secure a season 3 by signing and spreading this petition to others.

This show overall is just a masterpiece no one could ever think of apart from Simon Barry. And to think that Netflix spent nothing in trying to market the show is so disappointing, really hoping for a season 3 so keep rewatching and streaming Warrior Nun season 2 on Netflix (remember muting it won’t count as a view)

A unique story with amazing characters and character progression, good cgi, PHENOMENAL fight scenes, religion vs science shenanigans, perfect balance between seriousness and humor, the best written and the most interesting protagonist I've seen in a long while, also miss Alba Baptista does a phenomenal job as Ava so that helps

Warrior nun, this is beyond my expectation. Mystery in the end of every episodes left me nothing but curiosity. I was dying to know what would happen next. It is unpredictable and I love it. Moreover, they have the beautiful narration and excellent edition. The actions scenes were impressively well. They were very cool and exiting. Especially SS2, it is too good. The story line , action scenes, comedy scenes and emotional expression, theme songs everything is delivered smoothly and realistically. It feels like the marvelous harmony of flavors that you will never forget when you taste the most decent food in your life. This is one of best of mankind civilizations. This is a real good show with well-written story. The character developments are great and the relationships between them are priceless. I can’t wait to see my beloved characters again. Looking forward to SS3.

This is the best series I’ve seen in a long time! The plot, the characters, the cinematography are truly amazing.

I found season 1 great, quite easy to jump in, we discover quickly who the characters are and the universe; overall loved it. But season 2 was absolutely incredible, no words to describe what the team and creators have made. A true piece of art with beautiful references, fight scenes and a love story to bring tears !! A must watch !

Ass kicking nuns! Never knew I'd enjoy something called Warrior Nun but here we are.

Solid first season with interesting premise, charming actors, stunning photography, and overall great writing. Season two is a drastic improvement in every aspect. This is worth your time!

Overall the series is well-crafted. Truly, it is one of the best shows on Netflix currently. The cinematography, characters, and action choreography are off the charts.

This is one of the best and most original shows on Netflix. I'm thankful to Twitter for recommending it to me. I have no idea why Netflix doesn't promote this show because it deserves all the attention and the praise lesser shows get. Must watch for sure, I'm obsessed and can't wait for S3.

I actually really liked the show. There's something to it that makes you whatch the show in just one day! Dialogs, action scenes and a good slowborn.

What's not to love? An exciting, action filled fantasy series with lovable, snarky, smart-witted, strong, vibrant female lead characters. Easy to comprehend dialogue with back-and-forth banter that never fails to keep one impressed and smiling. This series has some of the best fight scenes I had the privilege of witnessing, as if a dance was being performed! The visuals were nothing but incredible, and the episodes were set in different locations compared to the mundanity of always seeing the same cities in most US series. Loved the use of profanity, completely relatable. Romance. Exceptional LGBTQ+ representation of a healthy w/w couple. It was handled in a delicate, beautiful manner. I completely adore this couple, the chemistry between these characters is at the heart of this show. Would love to see where this relationship leads. All in all, Its's officially one of my favorites.

Season 2 has an amazing cast, chemistry, fight choreography, cinematography, music choice, and character growth from Season 1. Season 1 starts out a little slow, as it needs time to establish the world, characters, and baseline, but if you give it a shot, there's a very good chance you'll end up loving it and wanting more. If you're a fan of Buffy, Lost Girl, Wynonna Earp, or fantasy shows with strong characters or a female-fronted show, you'll probably fall for this show, like so many of us have.

Absolutely amazing. I usually don’t give shows a full rating because improvements can always be made. I had no reason not to give the highest rating to this show. After season 2 this show has deserved all the love it receives. I renewed my Netflix subscription because one of my friends would not stop going on about it and I’m so glad I did. I rarely use Netflix unless I see shows like this. A season 3 better come out and I will sign up to Netflix again. Give this show a try if you haven’t watched it already, it gets so much better the more it goes on. Praying for a warrior nun season 3 even though I’m not religious

This is THE best show on Netflix. If you're hesitating to watch Warrior Nun, just get in head first and I promise you won't regret it. Such an underrated show but so much better than any of those ultra popular shows like Stranger Things or Riverdale. I 100% would recommend, it's amazing. The Warrior Nun cast did such a good job!

100% would recommend. Best LGBTQ+ and sci-fi show I have ever seen. They don’t force the relationship and make it too loud. As it should be. They make it where the relationship isn’t entirely the main thing about the show. They also add a good hint of humor every now and then to lighten the mood.

incredible show with high quality production, their stunts, cinematography and special effects rival even bigger shows with higher budget. This show is special, doesn't feel generic or mass produced, you could tell by the way they write relationships development, characters dynamics and humanity, you couldn't help but to even sympathize with the villains, connect with each and every character, no other show has made me care more about their characters.

Incredible work done by all involved. Some of the best character driven writing I've watched. Amazing cgi and fight sequences, with excellent representations. This show can be for all and only gets better In the second season! A MUST WATCH

Moving forward to season two, we are rewarded with a thoughtfully crafted main character development, alongside impactful actions scenes and impressively choreographed fights, which involve the other cast members as well. This season's pace is great; I'm expecting a third one.
