Speed Racer

One of the greatest cartoons ever made. Speed was a race car driver and Trixie was his slutty squeeze.

Speed Racer is an anime from the 60’s, it inspired a movie a sequel show and tons of merchandising. The show is a really unique experience, cars that fly, jump and chop trees, family members who runaway and join government intelligence agencies, pet chimpanzees, mammoth cars made of gold, and lots of fights. It’s definitely a niche show, but for those who love action and car racing (and don’t mind the frame rate), it’s a perfect show. The show features really unique, different and memorable episodes and adventures that the characters go through. The character roster is amazing with deep character development, the main and titular character Speed is a young man with aspirations to become the best car racer in the world, Trixie has her helicopter, Pops is a genius mechanic, Sprite and Chim-Chim always secretly joining Speed on his races, Racer X is a mysterious and masked racer that helps Speed through his journey. The show was a huge part of my childhood and every time I revisit it I have a splendid time, and the music is awesome and lives in my memories.
