Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age is not only great to look at, but is well-paced and provides some scientific context to the era known as the “Ice Age”.

Me encantó. Es un documental impresionante a nivel visual y sonoro. Me gustó mucho cómo combina entretenimiento, historia y ciencia de forma realista y envolvente. Es de los mejores documentales que he visto.

Probably the best dinosaur documentary since Walking with Dinosaurs, with getting so many accuracy correct and having behind the scenes segments that explain the science behind some of the behaviors depicted in the show and our current understanding of these magnificent animals.

Could the pacing of Prehistoric Planet be a little better? Sure. But the presentation of realistic-looking prehistoric animals in real-life environments is stunning to watch, especially for those with 4K TVs.

The spectacle is wonderful, and the information valuable. But perhaps by the end there will be an appetite for something more about how that fossil record tells experts what it does. ... The 10-year-old in me has awakened, and with it the atavistic childhood prime directive: trust, yet verify.

A visual delight and a hugely educational watch, Prehistoric Planet is CGI technology at its best and with so many different species of dinosaur brought to life, this series is going to make the Ross Gellers of the world incredibly happy.

The result is a sometimes funny, but always delightful realistic exploration of a time long, long before humans walked the Earth.

For a production backed by the financial might of Apple, the computer-generated imagery is weightless and penny-pinching. Mostly, the dinosaurs seem to float above their live-action backdrops.

The best Dinosaur documentary every made in my opinion. And Season 2 surpasses Season 1 in nearly every way, especially the quality of the CG Dinos! I prefer these types of shows over The Last of Us, The Boys, Mandalorian, Walking Dead, etc. as I'm getting entertained and actually learning something of substance while doing it! Season 3 please!!!

Prehistoric Planet is a beautiful documentary series from Apple TV. I decided to look just to see how the dinosaurs will be drawn in CGI. And they look great, especially on the big screen in 4K HDR. Music by Hantz Zimmer, animation by Moving Picture Company. It can be seen that Prehistoric Planet's budget is not small. But it's all just visual style. As for the filling of scientific information, it is difficult for me to judge. I am far from this topic. But I am glad that Apple is investing a lot of money in enlightening the mass audience. After all, if Prehistoric Planet were released relatively speaking only on the BBC platform, then there would be many times fewer viewers. And so Prehistoric Planet saw a large audience. I hope this is not a one-time experience of Apple in shooting expensive scientific documentary.

Possibly the best dinosaur documentary ever made. All the prehistoric animals feel incredibly real, they show very unexpected and interesting behaviours that never are shown in these kind of documentaries, and everything is up to date with our current scientific knowledge. I must see for every dinosaur fan, or even just for every nature enthusiast.

Expertly narrated and well produced, but suffers from too many location jumps and therefore a lack of depth on the individual creatures. Most of the science behind the show is outsourced into small (5 minutes or less) videos.
