A visual delight and a hugely educational watch, Prehistoric Planet is CGI technology at its best and with so many different species of dinosaur brought to life, this series is going to make the Ross Gellers of the world incredibly happy.

A fast-paced emotional rollercoaster, This Is Going to Hurt is hands-down one of the best dramas we'll see in 2022 and with the show hitting home just how much pressure the NHS is under right now, the adaptation couldn't come at a better time.

Ultimately, if you loved the first season, you're going to savour every single episode of this regency romp, its intriguing new characters and the impressive performances of its excellent cast, with Jonathan Bailey shining in his well-deserved spotlight.

Pieces of Her is well worth a watch if you like playing detective and with a stellar cast at its core – from Jessica Barden and Joe Dempsie, to Omari Hardwick and Gil Birmingham – this eight-part thrill-fest is a strong contender for the next title to top Netflix's streaming chart.

Inventing Anna is an unnecessarily melodramatic, bulky, one-note take on one of the most interesting stories to come out of the 2010s and a real let-down.

While there were moments in The Woman in the House that made me laugh out loud and others that had me on the edge of my seat, the series would have gelled more had it included a few more satirical punches. That being said, the show's volatile tone does give it an off-the-wall edge – the like of which Netflix hasn't seen before – and is a welcome addition to the overcrowded list of same-y thrillers.

The Gilded Age harnesses the best of Fellowes' writing and applies it to American history. While slow at points, this HBO drama is set to be a hit with Downton fans and while not as saucy as Bridgerton, The Gilded Age will certainly appeal to the romantics out there.

Fun, fashion-forward and funny, Emily in Paris’s second season makes for a very easy watch if you’re after a fluffy romcom full of colourful characters and lovers’ tiffs to get you through the Christmas holidays, but if you’re looking for a sitcom with substance, I would say non merci to this messy comedy.

A captivating nine-part struggle for power, season three is a near-perfect return for the critically acclaimed Succession, which never fails to remind you that your own family aren’t actually that bad when compared to the imploding Roys.
