Just as he did in his O.J. Simpson miniseries, Murphy has cast his show to perfection. After a few minutes, it's nearly impossible to remember that Jessica Lange (as Crawford) and Susan Sarandon (as Davis) ever had lives apart from the women they're playing.

This is probably the best series I have ever seen. Watching it over and over again. Everything feels so real, I feel very touched by every episode of this series.

La versatilidad de "Ryan Murphy" permite que todo el entorno pueda adaptarse a lo que verdaderamente es; una reliquia para la critica y el publico. Envolvente y Maravilloso.

Murphy’s dramatization doesn’t feel like a shortchanged, faithless endeavor. The complete opposite is the case: his passion and pain for these women bleeds from the screen, and it’s only in the little moments in between that Feud‘s nitpicky shortcomings can be found.

As a saga about how Hollywood builds up idols and then throws them aside, Feud: Bette and Joan is no "Sunset Boulevard." But it's a delicious cocktail of nostalgia, gossip and star power.

It's very funny at times. It balances on the edge of comedy/drama and sheer campiness--reflecting the lives of Davis and Crawford. But it is not the sort of over-the-top, unintentionally hilarious portrayal that the 1981 Crawford film biography "Mommie Dearest" became.

Lange and Sarandon pay him [Ryan Murphy] back with performances so powerful, they could light up a row of Hollywood marquees. In fact, the two shine so brightly at times that we can hardly see all the other flaws.

Feud is ultimately caught in an awkward limbo--neither as brilliantly campy and hateful as “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” or as contextualizing and profound as “People v. O.J. Simpson.” Instead, it is primarily too long.

To me, Feud: Bette & Joan, is a national treasure. Kudos to Ryan Murphy for creating and producing diamonds like this. Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford & Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis? Well, it screams greatness.

Poor Bob Aldrich. Those three words kept popping in my mind while watching Feud. Just as La La Land was Damien Chazelle's love letter to Hollywood, and the young artists and dreamers that aspire to success and fame, Ryan Murphy's Feud is a poison love letter to Hollywood and the artists and dreamers in the "twilight" of their career. The lovingly created Saul Bass style opening titles, production design, costume (Judy Davis' Hedda Hopper is amazing), **** are top notch. But it's the actors that shine the most. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon take two iconic actresses, and make the roles their own. Alfred Molina is superb as the director-in-the-middle Robert Aldrich. Judy Davis, Stanley Tucci, and whoever was cast as Victor Buono are all excellent, as is Jackie Hoffman as Crawford's maid Mamasita. An absolute pleasure to watch.

FX is doing right by holding on Ryan Murphy. Hope the show wins all the EMMYS AND THE GOLDEN GLOBES because guess what Ryan Murphy has given us a colorfully entertaining FEUD between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. Wish him and the series best of luck during the awards' season. Clearly, the best show of the year so far!!!

The most BORING show on television; when you start watching this show you keep waiting for it to get better but it never does. It is historical speculative piece that is exaggerated and still manages to be to say nothing. The show lacks focus and jumps around too much. In the end, there really is no a lack of focus of the "Feud" and a focus on how Crawford ages. It is offensive on how Davis is treated like a side character and not given the focus that she deserved like "Crawford." This show is a pretentious desperate attempt to gain awards and is not meant for human consumption. Look at all the "10 Ratings" that talk about awards... its like the studio's manipulative PR is in full gear because no normal human talks like that... There tends to be this message about what it is like to age in Hollywood but it gets lost. The show jumps around in time so much that a lot of the story falls apart. One of the biggest problems with the show is that there was too much Joan Crawford and not enough Betty Davis who is the more interesting character. The ending was so manufactured it was offensive to what claims to be a historical piece. This show is forgettable so do not start watching it now... it is garbage made with the intent to capitalize on reward season and lacks substance.

I am astounded by how lousy this pilot **** was dull, it was sluggish and frankly it was more about Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange than about these two truly famous actresses of the past..What I mean is- who cares? There was no depth to it - which frankly was an insult to Bette Davis-who if anything was one smart cookie. This was a stupid, superficial and boring piece. This is what happens when you get two men to write a show about 2 women .In other words-nothing happens..I was bored out of my mind, I was irritated and most of all- i was insulted Pure ****
