What we hope is that the level of episodic mysteries on A Taste For Murder get a little bit better than the muddled one we saw in the first episode, because everything around those episodic cases makes for an interesting show.

“Do we have bottarga?” Gennaro asks at one point. And when you’re actually more interested in the answer to that question than identifying the killer, it’s safe to say that this is a show in need of slightly better ingredients.
