As the film progresses, it consistently escalates the stakes and scale of its action, which doesn’t devolve into incomprehensible CG murk as it hurtles toward the climax.

As you watch “The Last Dance,” the film obliterates any distinction between shooting the works and jumping the shark and just saying, “WTF, let’s do it!”

Venom The Last Dance it's a really good conclusion to the story of venom a.k.a. Eddie Brock and it is really sad because this was the end of the venom series and having the movie end with venom letting himself die to save everyone and Eddie go back to his normal life !

I kept rooting for the surprisingly lifeless “The Last Dance” to pull way back on its save-the-world plot (and its CGI) and lean more into its most potent effect: Hardy’s split-personality double act.

Hardy is a highlight, playing Eddie as a man who has had more than enough of the party that’s raging in his head, but Kelly Marcel’s film is a sloppy, incoherent let-down.

The film’s inability to find a single tone – comic, cathartic or otherwise – makes it feel like a failure on all fronts, and the constant intrusion of loud, obvious pop needle-drops (and even a full disco-dancing sequence) don’t help.

Is it worth the wait? I mean, if you’ve already sat through The Last Dance — and I can’t advise that you do — then you might at well see it through to the bitter end. And I do mean bitter.

Contrarian so-bad-its-good specialists with PhDs in advanced irony once hailed the “Venom” films as entertaining campy classics and tongue-in-cheek antidotes to the more conventional superhero genre, but you will not be surprised when none of those scholars pipe up in support of this grueling cinematic slog that further underscores just how bad the entire affair was all along.

It’s tricky to rate this final part of the trilogy. Because, honestly, it’s not good: some moments feel rushed and could have used more development, while others drag on endlessly even though the film is only 1h40. Basically, it focuses on scenes it should have skipped and skips the ones it should have focused on. There’s a lack of symbiote, Knull serves no purpose, and the ending montage in memory of Venom is ridiculous… But overall, it’s still less messy and over-the-top than the previous installment. So, let’s just say it’s mediocre.

What the heck happened to this franchise?! . . . the trailer looked good but the actual movie looks like the whole thing was just phoned-in and there is so much green-screen in places there shouldn't be that the whole thing just feels 90s CGI-level unreal - to the point of being nearly un-watchable!

Holy Mother, what have I seen? Aside from the primary antagonist (and only in the few seconds of screentime), this movie has nothing. Even Tom Hardy can't save anything here.I can only advise everyone to invest their time better.
