Kangaroo Jack

Will parents be able to sit through Kangaroo Jack without plunging sharp sticks into their eyes? The short answer? Yes. Barely.

Likable but negligible.

This fish-out-of-water buddy/action comedy is aimed squarely at undiscriminating 10-year-olds, and that demographic may well enjoy it.

A desert of shrill juvenile jokes and clanging chase sequences.

Bruckheimer shifts from high-concept historical romance "Pearl Harbor" and high-concept T&A "Coyote Ugly" to a first attempt at high-concept light comedy, yet only his fondness for dragging acting talent down with him carries over.

Were it not for the involvement of producer Bruckheimer, who has made billions by conning millions into believing they can't live without his celluloid crack, it's doubtful Kangaroo Jack would even exist. As it stands now, the "movie" barely exists anyway.

It's fitting that the kangaroo gives the most lifelike performance.

This is a SEVERELY underated film. The acting is great, the plot is pretty decent and the jokes are belly-achingly funny. I don't care what the god-damn critics say, WATCH THIS FILM or else you will regret it.

Some jokes work and some don't. Kangaroo Jack has hit or miss humor but the real star is that annoyingly interesting kangaroo. That kangaroo saved the movie with its performance.

"Jesus. That was really scary. When Kangaroo rapped in 'Kangaroo Jack', that animated sequence, I found that disconcerting. I wish I had never seen that. It was very frightening. There'something evil about that. Maybe that's what the devil is like. He's like a Kangaroo that raps". I love you, Michael Shannon

Here, I am going to admit laughing at some parts of this movie. Some of it was funny. The Australia set also looks good. However, this movie is not worth much. Much of the humor was slapsticky, the plot was no good, and the acting was not all that great. Besides, I cannot believe this movie could get a PG rating. This should have been a PG-13 rating, as there was a lot of slapstick and language not appropriate for children.

Юмор прямиком из заднего прохода, тупые персонажи, шаблонные ситуации, сомнительного качества графика. Плохая комедия, не смешная, не интересная. Не смотрите.
