Its modest (if occasionally gross-out) stabs at genre parody rarely insult our intelligence and even allow for the kind of retro deadpan silliness Mel Brooks used to underline his louder punch lines.

It’s modest, scrappy, and resourceful, a low-budget comedy that makes the most of a central setting and a cast packed with gifted improvisers.

This movie really made me laugh. Being an avid horror movie fan and not having seen a decent horror comedy in a very very long time. I couldn't stop laughing at the poke they made at cheap scare tactics employed in 'ordinary' horrors these days, I feel exactly the same way. A serious thanks to the folks for making this movie, it made my day. It shoots from the hip from beginning to end and those easily offended will rate this as a negative, there's no hiding from that. Its about time someone got it right and these guys are awesome. Much much enjoyed!

This movie is great. If you like The State or Key and Peel or casually nude comedians you'll like it. Highly underrated.

Hell Baby works as a joke factory first and foremost, a collection of tropes (some mocked) second, and a movie a distant third.

Hell Baby is what happens when you try to parody a parody. The result is a film that's less than half as funny as its predecessor, and a sliver as clever as the original.

Garant and Lennon’ script, with its insistence on constantly repeating the same gags, rapidly wears thin.

Tedious and tasteless in equal measure, the lazy horror parody Hell Baby gives grossout comedy a bad name.

This isn't a very good horror comedy at all. The humour was botched, the acting is pretty much what you would expect from a movie like that and it was boring. While I didn't hate myself while watching the movie and there were a couple of bloody scenes, this movie was still a miss and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This film is a step better than Scary Movie V. There is just not enough laughs in Hell Baby to make it a good comedy. I like some of the actors involved in this, but unfortunately this is not a good film. D
