«Escape Plan» — это остросюжетный боевик с Сильвестром Сталлоне и Арнольдом Шварценеггером в главных ролях. Выход в кинотеатральный прокат в США состоялся 18 октября 2013 года, в России — 17 октября 2013. Успех ленты поспособствовал появлению серии фильмов — «План побега 2» (2018) и «План побега 3» (2019), которые были созданы продюсерами и сценаристом первой картины. Рэй Бреслин, один из лучших мировых специалистов по системам безопасности, соглашается на последнюю работу: сбежать из высокотехнологичной тюрьмы, которую называют «Гробница». Мужчину подставляют, и теперь он вынужден прибегнуть к помощи заключенного Эмиля Ротмайера. Звук: Норм. Картинка: Постановка на высшем уровне, кто-то говорит о низкобюджетности, ну, во-первых, столько крутых актеров, а по уровню спецэффектов и т. д. не заметил ничего такого. Персонажи: Сталлоне отыгрывает роль как будто из фильма «Lock up», а если по-серьезному, то его задача — проверять тюрьмы на прочность, Шварценеггер в роли знатного бандюга на удивление приставуч. И ничего Сэм Нил в роли доктора, было приятно видеть таких лиц в фильме. Из негодяев-то актер директора тюрьмы мне понравился, Джеймс Кэвизел, не знаю, видел ли я его до этого, кроме первого просмотра фильма, или нет, 50 Cent еще заскочил на огонек. И Винна Джонса я где-то видел, тоже норм отыграл. Сюжет: Тестировщик тюрем решил испытать себя не только в реальной жизни, но и в самой суровой тюрьме, созданной с учетом всех ошибок, описанных в его книге. Это забавно. Итог: Забавная идея в этом фильме про частные тюрьмы, так еще и такого образца, на первый взгляд все было логично, но не без недостатков, ясно дело, но мне и идея, и актеры, и концовка понравились.

Escape Plan is mostly a gray, thudding metal machine of throwback exploitation, but the goateed, goofy Ah-nold is so happy to be in the thick of an old-school bruiser again that he makes it feel like the dumb-fun flashback party it is.

A highly enjoyable slice of in-one-eye, out-the-other nonsense. It may coast on the charisma of its leads at times, and it’s hardly deep, but there’s a Friday night to be had.

In one amusing bit of dialogue, Stallone and Schwarze-negger kid each other about being smarter than they look. For a little while at least, we thought we might be able to say the same about Escape Plan.

For a long stretch of the second act the film feels like doing a long stretch, but Schwarzenegger’s having a ball as Stallone goes through the motions.

I don't understand why the critics hate this film. Solid plot, solid acting, solid action..... it doesn't want or need to be Pulp Fiction.... it's simply a fun movie with an awesome plot.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and slyvester Stallone do a good job in this one. He's like the Houdini of prison escapes. Decent movie and worth a watch.

"Escape Plan" 10 Scale Rating: 6.0 (Decent) ... The Good: It's not deep, but it's a fun film. The action sequences and parts of the plan itself were actually well done and interesting. The ending was worthwhile and wasn't as predictable as I expected it to be. For the most part, succeeds in what it sets out to do. The Bad: It's still a heartless film full of cheap thrills. While it ends up decent, there are enough groan-worthy moments to prevent it from actually being a good film.

This film delivered less than it seemed to promise. I was left desperately wanting some classic Arnold lines, but for better or worse he seems set in establishing himself as an independent character. There is some entertainment value and I wouldn't recommend avoiding this film. I only say, after it is over you may ask yourself, could I have done something better with that 90 minutes of my life? Probably. But if you can't think of anything you can always give this film a try. Also you get to see 50 cent attempt to be a nerd.

Escape Plan is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger may make a great team but it didn't work in Escape Plan because the acting was awful and the whole story and how it was executed was poor. This movie has spawned at least 2 sequels but if the original was crap then how can the sequels be any better? Lol
