The actual video footage of some of the incidents recreated in the film, which play with the end credits, makes it clear that sometimes reality can be as hokey as fiction.

Informative, morally complex and supremely well-intentioned, it generally sidesteps sentimentality for appealingly straightforward storytelling.

It sure is a movie about...Dolphins...There really isn't to much more to say really. I mean it's like the first one, but they needed to make more money off little girls forcing their families to go watch this train wreck.

It literally hurt to watch this movie. Painfully irrelevant dialogue that does nothing to add to or move the the story. Teenage love interest scenes completely artificial. Overacting across the board mixed with lack of any engagement by the players. Strange repeat shots of the hoist mechanism chain, and later of Ashley Judd's impossibly full plate of prawns. Attempts at dramatic moments create laugh-out-loud absurdity. Best part of the movie is that, no matter how slow the crawl may be, it does finally end, the few brief appearances by the indomitable Morgan Freeman, and the raw rescue footage shown at credits. Best to wait until the movie streams, and then don't watch it then, either.
