Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe feels not only like logical product, but something that should exist. In a weird way, Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe feels even more timely than their last movie. If that was a way to capitalize on the cartoon while its popularity was peaking, Mike Judge’s latest effort is a reminder of how comedy can be.

Beavis And Butt-head Do The Universe is pretty much what you expect—and it’s, uhhhhh, pretty cool.

Literally the greatest movie I have seen in the past 2 years. Beavis and Butt-head (Mike Judge) have(has) a way of calling out current culture trends in the most idiotic yet intellectual way(s). It's almost a free pass to laugh in the faces of those who take life so seriously. Those who are so quick to make assumptions, those who judge based on appearance. Those who assume that the majority of people think on the same intellectual level as them. Beavis and Butt-head take everything literally, not politically, and that's the freshest breath of air anyone could breathe in 2022.

I have always loved Beavis and Butt-Head. There's something about their complete lack of situational awareness that just brings out the funniest happenings in the situations they end up taking part in. And of course, as always, the main quest is to "do it". The sexual innuendo is so mindbogglingly funny! It's so well done it even somehow plays a part in the plot this time around. Not just for B&B, but also for the surrounding characters who are oblivious to what is going on. It's almost as if two stories are being told at the same time. I love it! I also feel like B&B, despite their simple minds, have always been deeper characters than one might think. I really care for them. This movie is awesome!

Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe brings the boys back for an intergalactic comedy with plenty of their trademark crude laughs.

A legacy sequel that does nothing to revitalize its characters, expand its canon, extend (heh) its mythos, or even really tell a new joke. I laughed through the whole thing.

It’s frequently funny and occasionally savage in its commentary on the changed terrain. But in proving that Beavis and Butt-Head absolutely have a place in the contemporary world, it suggests that there’s a limit to how deeply we probably want to interrogate that place.

While most sequels invite comfort through the familiar, this film’s best moment arrives through Judge grappling with his signature humor in a modern world.

At 86 minutes, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe feels twice that long. Most of the good laughs are front-loaded in the premise; the rest pop up every 15 or 20 minutes, which isn’t exactly prime Mel Brooks ratio.

One of the funniest films I've seen in literal years. It's almost a shame this didn't come out in theaters. Nobody does it quite like Mike Judge. Heheh. I said "does it". Heheheheh.

Considering that Beavis and Butt-Head have never really changed their formula since they appeared in '92, you have to applaud that they still manage to keep their frankly hilarious idiocy intact. Even if over time their impact has degraded, but they are what they are, and unapologetically so. Take it or leave it. If you're a fan I'd find it hard to understand not liking this movie. I wasn't too excited about the new seasons, but this gave me hope.

It was okay. A lot of the lines felt forced towards the beginning but it got a lot better towards the end. The joking about white privilege as if it’s not a real thing was a turn off.

The first movie was funny, this one is not. Why not make it absolutely filthy now that it is on Paramount+ instead it is the same joke about scoring over, and over again. None of the old characters make appearances (Daria, Hippy Teacher, Old Principal, Old Neighbor Guy, Blonde Kid With Winger shirt). The movie just seemed really half hearted, and it will be the only time I ever watch it.
