Ambulance

Ambulance is here to remind you of the head-spinning delights of watching a genuine cinematic madman at work. This is eye-popping, ear-splitting, guffaw-inducing stuff that makes Red Notice look like the dumpster juice it truly is.

There’s enough variation and suspense, enough complication in the form of other characters with other concerns, that Ambulance stays fresh until the finish.

It’s stupid, exciting, unruly (with a 136-minute run time), and strangely refreshing.

Ambulance may often be nonsensical, but it’s also the biggest, boldest action movie of the past year and a spectacularly raucous return to form by director Michael Bay.

Michael Bay’s tribute to the emergency services (which involves blowing several of them up) is noisy, messy and frequently absurd — yet still somehow his most gleefully entertaining effort in at least a decade.

At the core of the film, partially concealed by Bay’s posturing and swagger, is a bracing, slickly executed B-movie.

Bay’s latest reeks of falsehood veiled as righteousness.

The usual micheal bay movie, pretty **** dope and entertaining as hell, highly recommend

This movie was like a roller coaster is good but it's really intense the ending was crazy Jake Gyllenhaal character was insane I was in shock through the whole movie because it literally was like

Call the ambulance, call the ambulance - but not for me

While still a typical Micheal Bay movie in terms of action the plot and dialogue as less stellar then one of his usual movies. Right from the get go there are signs of trouble when Jake Gyllenhaal's character keeps talking about his "plan" when it turns out to not be so much a plan but a loose general idea and it basically sets the tone for the rest of the movie. It is definitely a turn your brain off to even remotely enjoy it kind of movie. If you are wanting a movie full of explosions and car crashes but lacking on plot and writing then this is your kind of movie.

Poorly planned bank heist where a kid could have come up with a better scenario. Hundreds of police cars cannot block out one ambulance? No road blocks, no shooting the tires flat, no nail strips in the road? And where in L.A. do you totally avoid traffic jams? The movie lacked realism for being made in 2022.
