Let me put it this way. It's right up my alley. Maybe it wasn't a very breathtaking story. Maybe it had its flaws, but I liked it. I like gangsters, drugs, and violent crime themes like that, so I was excited. I was hooked. Especially towards the end, I liked it a lot. I thought the action was good. Like I said, it hit my taste. If you like such crime movies with gangsters, you might also like it. I speak for myself. I liked it a lot. I think it's a great crime show. It is possible that I had so called rose colored glasses or simply a different view of this film. I didn't see what was wrong with it. I got a criminal with drugs and action, which I like, so I was satisfied. So I only recommend it to fans of this kind of gangster genre. Maybe someone will be interested. I got hooked and for me it was great.

Bem melhor, do que achei na primeira vez que assisti, com um grande "Twist" Reviravolta no final, Timothy Olyphant é genial como sempre e muito engraçado, Geno Silva É assustador e ao mesmo tempo carismático, Larenz Tate está ótimo como colega do Vin Diesel, Juan Fernández de Alarcon realmente está de dar medo, Jeff Kober está ótimo e até o Vin Diesel está bem. Excelente suspense com ótimas cenas de ação, F Gary Gray Dirige Com magestria esse filme muito bom!!!

Diesel is good in the movie. He gets to dance, cry, romanticise…things we’ve rarely see him do in other movies. There are actually hints of a real actor there.

A Man Apart isn't awful, but it is almost reflexively rote, evoking countless other outlaw-cop films that are smarter, tighter and more fun.

This movie was great, I can't imagine how anyone is giving it a 0. I loved this movie. The premise was great and the entire movie kept me entertained. This is a very under rated movie that deserves much more credit.

If movies were role models for a motherless and fatherless society lacking in too many ways to list, this would be a bad movie. Little Joey just wants to be superman. He wants your attention and admiration. He wants to be important and accepted. He is looking in all the wrong places so have a beer and peep into his private life for a little fun without getting your hands dirty at his expense. I have seen much worse but have seen better from VD. Cops and the government don't need any more encouragement to be in your business. Getting them out is the challenge if possible. I didn't fall asleep. I remember what happened. It brought me in and got me involved even if the story line is roughly familiar. Not much new here but not bad.
