Yo-kai Watch 2 is one of the best games for the Nintendo 3DS. I think it's necessary to play the first instalment. In this new narrative, we will discover the origins of the Yo-kai Watch and learn about the differences between Yo-kai Spirits and Polpanime (the game versions, respectively). The story is really interesting. The gameplay, although based on the same foundations as the first instalment, has undergone some changes that make the gaming experience fresher. There are lots of things to do in the post-game. Some flaws remain, and this can be annoying if you play it immediately after the first Yo-kai Watch. If you love the 3DS, you absolutely must get your hands on this gem.

I'm not even ashamed to say i have 400+ hours in this game. I love it in every way, it's yo-kais, it's story and the pace it has, the way the game presents itself, to every little detail. I like the guessing the yokai plates, i love the fights, i love EVERYTHING about it. I just genuinely love it so much. With that said I hate how it has versions which means you can't get everything in one game, but it does NOT take away from the MASTERPIECE this game is. This game emotionally grew on me by far the most

The game is almost perfect. The fact that you can go back in time is, admittedly, very common in video games, but it's brilliant. Post-war Japan is interesting and beautiful. The bosses are even better than in the previous game, the story more relevant... It's clearly a classic for this console.

Where do I began. This is probably my favorite game of all time. Everything was perfect. And after you were done with it, there would be much more you can do after words. Some of the side quest had there own little story, or it felt like a whole dlc to the game. But I wish you didn’t have to have all 3 yo ki watch 2 games. But I loved it so much that I went out my way to have all 3 to have every bit of post game content as possible. Thank you to Kai watch for making my childhood, and I wish for this series to come back on day

The best 3DS game ever made.
The Yo-kai watch series has some of the best games and it is way too underrated

Un gran juego de 3ds, pero no lo recomendaría debido a que su versión Mentespectros es sencillamente mejor

Really solid game, it vastly improved the first and it kept all the first one's bosses while still adding new ones. The past section of the game could have been done a bit better, since there is not a lot to do there, especially in postgame. Side quests are leally fun to do most of the times. The final boss is REALLY HARD, i had to stop playing the game for four and a half years, start a new file and use S rank 5 star coin yokai just to defeat her. The postgame starts really slow and i haven't gotten to the good part yet but i know it's good, it's just that grinding **** once again. 8/10, they should have added more past zones.

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits is a great sequel to the already good Yo-Kai Watch. In Yo-Kai watch 2 you either play as Katie or Nate depending on choice. You have to go back in time to save the world from being taken over from dark Yo-Kai you work with Nathaniel (Your Grandfather) in the passed. The map is expanded from the first game and there is a bunch of stuff to do post game. I would really recommend to pick up this game.

This game is fantastic! The battles are fun and chaotic, the visuals are beautiful, and the Yo-kai are as lovable and charming as every! This game is truly the perfect sequel to Yo-kai Watch. The only things that hold it back are the slow pace of the beginning of the game and the confusing mess that is the Soulcery system.

One of my favorite RPG games to date. Graphics are amazing for the 3DS and character design is well made for the yokai. Large map with multiple places and quick transportation with Mirapo. I love the fact that you can go back in time and that you can fight a rare yokai once a day until you befriend it. 10/10.

Yo-kai Watch 2 is very much a fan game. It looks like the first one, plays like the first one and, the story harkens back to the first one. I'd say if you liked the first one like I did, you'll like Yo-Kai Watch 2. If you didn't like the first one, then you wouldn't like this one. I just hope Yo-Kai Watch 3 adds variety, if it ever comes to the US...

This game is **** time travel story is a much better story than the cluttered mess of a story of yo-kai watch **** does have some problems though.I found a few bosses to easy and the first few chapter, although doing a great job of setting up the game play, have nothing to do with the main **** worst part of the game is definitely the train system. There are many useless train stations and until you get mirapo activated, its a pain in the butt to use the trains to get to harrisville and san fan **** yo-kai in this game are usally pretty creative, but some yo-kai,like cheeksqeek and blowkade, are just kind of dumb.I love this game, and i have almost 200 hours logged into it.I definitely recommend it.

Pros: +I haven't played first game but story and lore is pretty easy to catch up (Level-5 using amnesia trope). +Well-written funny dialogs. Yo-Kai are cute, intelligent and can speak unlike pokemons. +Main story is very long and interesting. A lot of side-quests and exploration. +Online battles and coop. +Very good graphics. No FPS drops (looking at you X/Y). Fast loading times. Neutral: *Battle system is unique but pretty chaotic. Yo-Kai fight automatically but you can use their "ultimate abilities" through mini-games, swap fighters and set targets in real-time. Because everything happens so fast there is very little time for tactical approach to track buffs/debuffs and execute advanced strategies. Cons: -Game is bloated with unnecessary systems. I'm somewhere mid-story and my watch already has 30 "apps", half of which add literally nothing to the game and just boring/annoying (bug catching, fishing, lottery, camera, terror, musicbox, criminals etc). -A lot of running back and forth though massive city. No quick travel.

Very good monster catching JRPG type game with hours of content. HUGE areas to explore and a captivating, adorable story with charming creatures and a unique, albeit a bit tedious battle system. Some flaws from the first game remain, but if you can look past the slight tedium the game offers, it's a solid entry into the humongous library of games the 3DS has to offer.

Cant put it down. Large map to explore, good story, very laid back experience. The yo-kai are pretty "unique"; many being humorous spins on everyday things. I see people comparing it to pokemon, but it shouldnt be. The similarities are scarce; its a very different experience.

If you liked the first Yo-Kai game then you will like this as well. The world is huge and there is no shortage of things to do. I would say making friends with Yo-Kai is easier this time, but it is still a bit random even with food. This is easily one of the prettiest 3DS games as well with the usual amount of polish you'd expect from Level-5. I really don't get some of the scores coming from the "professional" reviewers. This is a solid and enjoyable game.
