Wipeout Fusion
Taking hairpin turns and navigating loop-the-loops at 500 mph is Wipeout’s equivalent of a boring straightaway.
There's no next generation oomph that sneaks up and slaps you on the face like that little bald orange man from the old Tango drink ads, no real sense of feeling justified for making that step up from 32- to 128-bit.
The most accessible, fastest, most potent version of the series. It’s arguably the best of the four games that make up the series, but nobody can deny that’s easily the prettiest.

This game has the best tracks I've played so far in the wipeout series but it is kind of buggy and the maneuvering of the crafts feels stiff in comparison to the other games.

Muito divertido, gráficos bons , mapas bons , músicas boas ,jogabilidade boa , o jogo é curto e apresenta bugs onde você sai do mapa por bugar e o jogo não tem uma campanha definida

Yojimbo2015
One of the original and most popular PSX titles upgraded for the PS2 should've been a slam-dunk, but despite the graphics being higher resolution they actually look worse thanks to inferior design. The physics are not as raw or convincing, the music is bland, the tracks less interesting and the weapons not as well thought out. As a whole it feels more like one of Wipeout's many copycats than the real thing and although it compares favourably to most of the clones, it's still comfortably the weakest Wipeout game of the entire series.

A much deeper and more immersive racer. WipEout fusion less an exercise in memorization and precision than 3...A triumph, as expected. [June 2002, p.52]

Wonderful! Just speed and fun coming at player directly. Wipeout fusion is an excellent collection of tracks, ships and fun factor. Can't recommend this enough!

Wipeout almost never dissapoints. This time, as always, game is a masterpiece! Sensation of movement, speed and futuristic vibes really is unparallel. This game introduces variety of tracks, ships and challenges, which makes it a true blast to play. Wipeout is really an unique experience in gaming and I love it!

The response of each craft, no matter how demanding, feels gloriously authentic and exudes the same order of weighty behaviour which so successfully separates A-Spec from GT2.

Fusion's control, graphics and tracks are so spot-on that once mastered, weaving through the curves at supersonic speeds becomes second-nature. [June 2002, p.112]

While Wipeout Fusion does not stray too far from the formula created by the original, the small pieces it does alter often detract from what made the previous titles so great.

Best game in the series in my opinion I like the emphasis on combat. It makes the racing so exciting and tense

I love Wipeout, Wipeout 2097, Wip3out and even Wipeout Pulse. Why hat Wipeout Fusion has to be such an disappointment. Apparantly others can find joy here, I gonna just sell this game and rebuy Wipeout Pulse. It is just slower, you die much to easy, even when the weapons are turned off, and the gameplay is just NOT Wipeout: The airbreaks make almost no effect, you don't accelerate like in a Wipeout game, and you can not just repeat the track if you don't do it well, but have to cancel the whole league. All of this was better in Wipeout 1,2 and 3 and some of it comes back in Wipeout Pulse.
