Will Rock

I haven’t had this much FUN playing a game in a long time. The twitch nature of the gameplay is great for short spurts of addictive action between those other more serious titles. Check your brain at the door and let the Force flow through you.

I found a few bizarre control and collision hiccups that furrowed my brow, but by and large this is a game that starts with a bang and doesn't quit. [Aug 2003, p.103]

If you're one of the those who routinely played Serious Sam, swore a lot, died a lot and then found yourself doing it again, here's a Rock you just might want to crawl under for a while.

Will Rock can be fun and at times, but the designers screwed up the gameplay pace with the poor layout of the levels and their lackluster design, and, at times, awkward frequency of the spawning baddies.

I absolutely love the graphics. The character models are excellent. They're not only imaginative but appear to have depth and personalities. Too bad the game doesn't have much depth.

Every texture repeats over and over again until your eyes cry out for something different. Even the artificially produced skies are bland and generic, possibly so the clouds don’t upstage the boring enemies you fight again.

I bought this game when it came out, and I think it's very good. Great weapons. Flaming arrows and a toxic gun that explodes enemies along with more traditional ones. I play all the Serious Sam games, and while Will Rock isn't as good, its still a very enjoyable game to play. I recommend it to anyone who likes FPS games. I wish it would be updated so it could run on Steam and Win 10. I bought an old win XP 32 bit computer just to play it.

Great environments, enemies, weapons and sounds. It is more balanced than serious sam. These powers are underpowered though.

Events take place in ancient Greece. In the story, we are fighting Zeus himself, but give the plot only at the very beginning and at the end. The game doesn’t really take the gameplay. Therefore, the game has nothing to catch.

Shameless knock-off of Serious Sam. Has no gameplay loop it can call its own, and in general is the definition of mindless, the antithesis of what it's leeching off of.

A cheap parody of Serious Sam. No plot, stupid monsters, not beautiful graphics by those standards, poor sound. There is no atmosphere of Ancient Greece there. I do not recommend.
