CD-Action
An uncommonly ambitious detective story featuring a huge range of well-written characters and breathtaking soundtrack. [09/2016, p.65]

The biggest let down is that the game engine leads to a great deal of frustration when playing. If not for that total annoyance, this release would be the ideal way to experience Umineko When They Cry.

Super cool game, I've never enjoyed a game where I've been thoroughly confused throughout my entire playthrough. I feel like I can see glimpses of the truth surrounding the overall mystery of the game, but my logic falls just short of being able to do so.Definitely worth buying and a great first visual novel experience. Looking forward to getting an interesting conclusion in the second half of the story.

One of the most interesting and captivating stories of all **** first, every chapter is quite slow. That is until midnight strikes.Every episode will be faster than the previous one due to no need to add context, but I don't think this is a bad thingI'm glad they took the time to develop the characters in every episode, bit by bit, rather than everything in the first episode. I love how each episode has a hidden "topic" and focus.Like in every WTC, there's a huge difference between question and answer arcs and they both have their own charms. Umineko is a bit less radically different, but still as **** sure to play this while using the 07thmod for full voice acting. One of the best voice actings I've ever heard.

The best piece of fiction ever written. Start here, continue with the Answer Arcs. Without love it cannot be seen.

I can't reasonably recommend it to anyone, but I also have ****'s an incredible story. It has its faults, but for a 120+ hour experience, it was rare that I was not glued to the ****'s slow. If you do start reading Umineko, trust the process. It's worth it.
