This is definitely the ultimate superhero experience on the DS, making the most of the dual screen for presentation and gameplay and a valiant attempt at touch screen control.

The comic book quality graphics and spot on story telling are the icing on an already fun to play, easy to control game.

It ended just in time - the end of the game comes down to, more than anything, one big boss battle after another - and left us with a true feeling of accomplishment.

The game boasts fun 2D gameplay mixed with an impressive 3D presentation. The story and storytelling are awesome, perhaps the best on the Nintendo DS.

The game is varied enough and contains enough special moves to give you a few runs though without feeling like complete repetition.

The action-packed gameplay is extremely well done, and the overall polish of the whole experience might be found in the console version of the game.

The touchscreen sequences for Venom are well done and use that feature of the DS to the gamer’s advantage. But the Spidey sequences under-use the touch screen, and the sound can be a little tinny at times, when heard through the DS speaker.

Follows the plot to the letter and serves up its own unique style of gameplay, but the controls need some polish. Like the console releases it has a short lifespan and little to no replay value afterwards, but it’s still plenty of hectic fun while it lasts.

Absolutely fantastic storytelling using animated dual-screen comic panels with extensive voice over. It's the driving force of the entire production.

It's just a marvelous and beautifully constructed adventure game.
