Avoid Truth or Lies. As the faulty software fails to do what it is supposed to, the whole concept gets worthless.

With such unstable tech, it's unclear why anybody would buy this game instead of just playing it themselves in their living room sans the uninteresting questions and irritating announcer.

Yapping lies into a mic is a unique and creative idea, but Truth or Lies never works like it should, and there's no reason to play it beyond nabbing easy Achievements. [Jan 2011, p.65]

Sure to drag your party in a depressingly non-sexy direction. You'd have an edgier evening playing Monopoly.

Overall, Truth or Lies: Someone Will Get Caught is a rental at best and even that is being generous. The game is more frustrating than fun but will earn achievement junkies easy points.
