Even the addition of crazy new Social moves like Break Dance and Booty Tease make interactions with other Sims much more fun than they were in previous titles. [Jan 2003, p.48]

It's somehow mind-numbingly mundane and brilliantly addictive at the same time. [Jan 2004, p.92]

I Personally think this is when Sims was at it's best, Played this for hours completeing ever career one by one completing the individual location goals along the way. It was a much simpler game back then with straight forward ****'s a must play for anyone looking to indulge in a simple yet satisfying roleplay/strategy game or just a bit of nostalgia

This new expansion pack for the Gamecube is perfect and how I WANTED it to be. Sims Bustin out is how a sims expansion pack SHOULD be not a repetitive lacking cheap game.

Sims fans should bust out of their homes and bust on down to their favorite store to pick up The Sims Bustin’ Out.

Tweaked sounds and graphics make it look slightly better and sound slightly nicer, but it’s not really a sequel in the true sense of the word. The Sims Bustin’ Out adds logical improvements to an already winning formula without blowing us away with any stunning revelations.

Worth a look-see, but memory card requirements effectively banish this one to the realm of "Either buy it, or don't bother."

The GameCube and GBA versions have possibly the most exciting exclusive option, with players able to download special mini-games to their GBA which will earn them Simoleons and other goodies to use in the Cube game.

There is more freedom in career choices, less intense caretaking, plus a few console specific features. But the gameplay is old hat for previous console players.

I'm pretty sure this game would be incredibly fun if it wasn't so excruciatingly painful to play. This game has personality, a fun plot, and it introduces itself well, but it ultimately feels like they took the game play of The Sims and put it on a GameCube, without any regard for what actually works on consoles compared to a PC game. It's not fun to control. It's hard to tell where your cursor is in relationship with the 3d environment. Most of this game for me was spend waiting for my Sim to finish things, fast-forwarding, and trying to maneuver around my roommates needs and constant interruptions, none of this is particularly interesting. Which is a shame, because there's a lot to like about this game outside of that.

Henry Kissinger? Yes please! Title; To easy to make fun of. Gameplay; to bad to make fun of. Vibes? Terrible. Hender gwüssd das im Burbaki alli Film bis am abig am 11i chasch luege? Ez weisches. Atleast they had vents (A reference I think.) The only thing missing was my fav Black Eyed Peas song (You know which one). I got forced to write more by stupid mc fartface; John Carrey, Sec off state or smth idc. Nancy Raygun (pewpew) Powel; Money matters (Er hed es Zündhölzli azunde).
