Loads of great new furniture (including modular sofas) and a new career (that you can combine with a different full-time job) make this expansion a dream come true for anyone who’s into interior design. This time EA and Maxis gave it 200% and there’s literally nothing I dislike about Dream Home Decorator. [08/2021, p.61]

The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator Game Pack was just what I needed, as I really wanted to start designing some of my own homes and rooms. I very much enjoyed the hands-on experiences with each of the clients' unique homes. My only complaint is that some of the likes and dislikes are not obvious, especially when it comes to particular styles, and that the clients don’t tell you what you did wrong at the end of the renovation. The reveal at the end is super fun, and reminds me of being on a fixer upper TV show.

We Got This Covered
The new Interior Decorator career in The Sims 4: Dream Home Decorator is more interactive than ever and provides a little something for everyone, but it's still a bit of a buggy mess. What this new pack lacks in gameplay, though, it makes up for it with beautiful furniture and build items.

Well-made add-on for Sims players who want to get even more out of the build mode.

Overall, I think the Dream Home Decorator pack successfully adds a new dimension to The Sims 4. As we hope all expansions do, it positively reflects the portion of the community who love all things build mode.

Dream Home Decorator isn't for everyone, but those who enjoy renovating homes will be impressed by a generous variety of items and an engaging new career, even if the amount of new gameplay is on the slight side. It's a shame that the pack has launched with a troubling amount of bugs, and anyone considering making the purchase at this moment in time should keep that in mind.

One of my favourite game packs. this may be a bias review as i enjoy the interactive career but the items used are so cool and it is such a good career to work your way from the bottom to the top. Interactions between clients are definitely interesting and i thoroughly enjoy it. However, don't buy this pack if you don't like inetractive careers within get famous and get work. But i just love the finer details like the sims work being broadcasted on tv. I think this is a great pack regardeless of the few glitches a well deserved 9/10

While the new furniture is decent and can be used outside of the new career at the center of this pack, the laughable amount of bugs, horrible design choices and an utterly confused Ai make this a worthy part of the Sims 4-franchise. So if you were looking for more features that don't work, this fits neatly into the collection of unresponsive environments (so called worlds) full of bumbling morons (so called sims) that try to follow so many layers of contradicting scripts (so called AI) at this point that it's like a simulation **** open mental hospital that ran out of ADHD-meds a long time ago. Worst moment: Renovating my first room and thinking that this could be fun and seems to work as promised Best moment: Selling everything in a room and getting a perfect rating for my "renovation", and in conclusion going back to Sims 3 that did this, once again, a lot better.
