The Rogue Prince of Persia is an absolute success in both doing justice to the well-loved property and in taking the foundation of Dead Cells and moulding it into something new and just as exciting.

In its complete release, The Rogue Prince of Persia didn't manage to break free from the main issue it had in its early access: the little variety and repetitiveness. However, even so, this is a fluid action game, which is extremely satisfying to explore and an easy recommendation for this reason.

Very good, addictive gameplay and enjoyable story and good variety of levels.
Every run feel different with the medallion.
You can finish it with in 15 hours or less. I wish they can expand on the endgame stuff

An excellently crafted action roguelike that directly aims to entertain fans of Dead Cells and Hades with a wide spectrum of new challenges. A vast selection of combat options, platforming sections that require a lot of attention, and an excellent movement system elevate this title above most of its competitors.

The Rogue Prince of Persia is a really well rounded and finalised experience, which can almost be refreshing in a genre that can go on forever. It also lessens the impact of the game's problems, as they simply don't have time to become major issues. The Rogue Prince of Persia ties all aspects of the genre together into a solid game that will excite fans of roguelites and newcomers alike.

It’s a game that respects your time even when you fail, ensuring that every run, no matter how short, contributes to your overall strength. The exquisite comic-book art, the fluid controls, and the challenging enemies all come together to create a compelling and addictive experience. While the inherent repetition of the roguelike genre may not appeal to every player, those who embrace the challenge will find a deeply rewarding platformer that pays homage to its roots while confidently forging a new path.

Overall a good game with an addicting gameplay loop that will keep you entertained for several hours. But the game feels very unpolished in its current state. Some parts of the randomly generated levels don’t make any sense and are completely empty (no enemies or loot at all, sometimes two portals right next to each other, dead ends…). Also there’s a lack of content right now, especially if you played an awesome game like Dead Cells before. Give the developers some time and we might see some greatness

It's a Dead Cells clone. There's fun to be had for a short time. Better off just playing the superior Dead Cells though.

Only worth 10 dollar or buy dead cells instead. -unfinished unpolished rushed very expensive very very repetitive 2d action rogue lite dead cells clone, must stay early access alot of annoying glitches, sometimes controls not respond, samy platforms, little bosses, no time mechanics ???? Really it's a prince of Persian not a dead cells and for this price it's a little content compare to dead cells cheaper and better. -only good mini map mechanic, Persian music and weapons. -buy dead cells instead.
