A fitting and satisfying end to the trilogy, that manages to keep in line with player expectations and doesn't suffer from some of the mechanical problems of the first two episodes.

Great mysteries are hard to write, and there are many more failures in the genre than there are successes. Despite some stumbles in the final chapter, I still consider The Raven to be a success.

Overall, the Raven is greater than the sum of its parts, with the strong start overshadowing the shortcomings of the 2nd and 3rd chapters. KING Art could be accused of putting more effort into the opening charge and failing to keep up the momentum with the subsequent releases but, as a whole, The Raven is still a very worthy adversary for adventure-loving opponents.

A Murder of Ravens ends the story on a cheap note and doesn’t quite live up to the promise laid out in the opening, but it’s certainly more fun than the preceding chapter.

As for the story of Chapter 3, it’s ultimately pretty satisfying, although there’s some narrative sleight-of-hand at work in the conclusion that felt a bit like cheating on part of the game’s writers.

The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief is a solid adventure that is at its best during the first three or four hours of play, then it loses its grip and dissipates the potential of all the beautiful characters it had introduced before.

Chapter Three is ultimately a letdown all things considered, but as a whole, The Raven - Legacy of A Master Thief is still worth checking out if you enjoy point and click adventure games and a good "whodunit" style mystery.

As an ode to Agatha Christie, The Raven does a more then fair job. As a mystery charting it’s own ground, it ends up as little more than middling.

The atmosphere and mystery the developers were going for has been perfectly captured but the execution feels too haphazard. This most recent chapters feels almost like a throwaway after the ambition set forth at the beginning.
