At this very moment in time, I am actively thinking about replaying the game once again. I wanted to re-explore Hyrule, meet the new champions again, and go back and do some of the side quests I missed. If you have never even played the game before, I invite you to give it a shot. While the price may be a bit much, I promise you that you will come away with an unforgettable experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may not be the best game ever made, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a contender.

Few games will ever meet the high expectations Breath of the Wild has set. The Switch 2 version is the best way to play an unforgettable title with better visuals and some neat new features.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Zelda Breath of the Wild is undoubtedly the best way to enjoy this masterpiece. Once again, it's impossible to sulk despite the noticeable absence of little new features that could have been a welcome bonus. If you're in the process of finishing the game, or haven't had a chance to get into it yet, now's your chance. With its crisp resolution, exemplary fluidity and overall improvement in graphics, it's a real treat. A pristine nugget from the Nintendo Switch 1, here sublimated at a lower cost.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still a phenomenal game, and it's now best played on the Nintendo Switch 2, with improved loading times, higher-resolution graphics, and that silky-smooth frame rate. Zelda Notes is entirely optional if you want to ignore it — and hopefully that sort of addition isn’t the main reason upgrades cost more (or anything).

Um dos melhores jogos já feito. Revolucionou para época lançada e foi base para várias jogos de geração posterior. Considero um dos melhores jogos que já tive o prazer de jogar.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was one of the most defining games of the Nintendo Switch’s lifespan, but on the Nintendo Switch 2 it finally realises its full potential, as all performance issues have been removed by the more powerful hardware. Some slightly aged visuals do nothing to detract from the captivating open world design, which has been made all the more accessible by the Zelda Notes app. Whether you’ve played Breath of the Wild before now or not, this is undeniably the best way to experience one of the most influential video games of the last decade.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will go down as one of the best launch titles of all time. Yes, technically it's a Wii U game that was ported over to the Nintendo Switch, but Nintendo made the right decision in holding this game back. It perfectly compliments the Nintendo Switch and highlights why it has the potential to be such a great and versatile console. Many have doubted Nintendo's ability to bring this series into the modern age of gaming, but they've done that and taken it one step further in creating one of the best open-world action-adventure games ever made.

The Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade of Breath of the Wild is a technically impressive but content-light update.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is undoubtedly the best way to play one of the greatest games of all time. The visual and performance enhancements remove any issues that you may have had to endure with the original game. It's practically flawless from that perspective. Sadly, the Zelda Notes app really brings the whole thing down. Useful features that should have been implemented in-game have been relegated to your smartphone, and using it completely breaks immersion in this incredible world. I'm only thankful that it's not even remotely mandatory. Leave Zelda Notes to one side, and you've got the definitive presentation of a modern classic.

For me, this is the best game ever made. Everything in this game is perfect. Its exploration, the music, the history and the mechanics are exceptional. It's a game that redefines this saga and all the open-world games. It's also a beautiful game in terms of graphics, and now, with the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, it is even better; the 60fps and 4K resolution greatly improve this game. In conclusion, BotW is a game that you have to play at least once.

It's a pretty good open world game, but I REALLY do not get why so many people call it a masterpiece in game design, or in open world design. It's... an okay open world. I kept seeing people say how "Oh there's always something cool to find around each corner!" and I'm like... is finding a tenth goblin camp really that interesting to you..? Sure, there's plenty to find, but... I haven't found it to be any different than most other open world games out there that manage to both feel bloated and empty at the same time. If you don't treat it as an open world, and focus on the main story beats, the game is enjoyable. But when you try to explore hoping to find cool, interesting and organic side-content, you'll be disappointed. The Witcher 3 is a much better contender in that aspect. Side content in BotW boils down to enemy camps, shrines, korok seeds, and the occasional side-quest where you have to talk two NPC A, find item B and bring it back to NPC A or to NPC C. It's just nothing to write home about. Now the gameplay however is pretty good. It looks fairly basic on the surface, but the way the game actively encourages you to play around and experiment is honestly something it does very well. Hell, just look at what speedrunners do with it. Now as for the story, it isn't anything groundbreaking either, but I don't think anyone really expects that from a Zelda game. The story is there to serve as a catalyst for the gameplay, not the other way around. Overall I think the game is worth experiencing at least once, although it is pretty damn overpriced in my opinion, as many Nintendo games tend to be especially when it's been many years since the original release.

Great that this finally runs at a stable 30fps that it never achieved on the original Switch. But it's still just more of BOTW, with an extra gimmick that quickly loses its appeal.

This has got to be the most overrated game ever. Big open beautiful world with nothing interesting to find. Your weapons are made out of glass and break after a few whacks. It takes all the fun out of finding new weapons. Anything interesting that you discover while wondering around leads to a shrine or a seed, so boring. Only 2 real main enemy types… pigs or lizards. I am blown away by the positive reviews. Probably the most boring game I’ve ever played.
