I don’t have either PC or iOS version. (I didn’t even know that iOS version existed). Sonic Spinball is not that bad. It’s good. But I’m no convinced that is really good. The gameplay is not that good. Story, meh. But the idea of do a Sonic pinball game is not bad. I’m writing this review because I owe Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection that has ORIGINAL Sonic Spinball. Not bad.

I remember it was my mother’s gift along with the Sega Genesis in 1994. It was the only game I had for two years and the only thing I could play. It’s perfect for traumatizing a kid because it’s so frustrating and you couldn’t save progress back then. The physics are so bad that Sonic’s ball is almost uncontrollable; it could roll to one side or the other almost at random

Take the worst level from Sonic 2, and make a whole game about it. Worst Sonic game on the Genesis, no questions asked. Unless you enjoy a slow and tedious game of pinball, don't touch this one.

Eh. This game wasn’t enjoyable like the other Sonic games, it might be worth playing, considering your taste for certain sonic games. For me, I found it boring. You might like it, but I don’t.

While pinball fans will continue to balk, Sonic Spinball is fun enough and quirky enough to remain fresh and relevant enough despite being relatively unchanged since it launched in 1993.
