We Got This Covered
Skyhill's set-up is a harrowing reality, while the challenge it offers players is both terrifically fun and nightmarishly difficult. It is a true test of your gaming endurance.

Unrelenting, old school rogue-like with a beautiful presentation and an alluring B-movie script that keeps you coming back time and again, until you finally manage to escape the cursed skyscraper of Skyhill Hotel. Highly addictive and deeply atmospheric, this one is thoroughly recommended even to non-fans of the genre.

If you want a punishing but fun experience, you may yet consider booking your suite at Skyhill. If you can push on through all the frustrations, all the randomly generated 'F-You' moments you'll have to endure, and every inevitable death just to get a little further each time, then Skyhill is your game. If you can't, well, then you probably aren't a roguelike fan anyway.

Survival can still work if kept simple, and here's proof of that. It might be repetitive at times, but it still delivers a very good gameplay experience.

In Skyhill, you'll feel like The Last Man on Earth, in the role of Vincent Price. You'll have to fight for your life, in this simple and clever roguelike. A fine example of this genre, but the not the best out there.

When you get right down to the core of it, see how the elements work in your favour or conspire against you, Skyhill admirably creates this tense game of hubris and courage, one that never lets up until you escape or, far more likely, die.

Riot Pixels
Skyhill shines during random events, as the developers created many tricky, unique situations that will force you to make some very tough choices.

The idea behind Skyhill is interesting, but the execution fails to deliver something that really show the potential of this concept. Still, it isn't a bad game, and it'll be worth your time if you're ok with its repetitive nature.

While entertaining for the most part then, Skyhill’s ease of play and encouragingly gentle roguelike mechanics are not quite enough to allow the game to reach the ambitious heights of the structure that it takes as its namesake.

Skyhill is a decent way to kill a few hours.
