Don't expect too much from Sky Force. It is very tactical and pretty tough, but it's still a good game for fans of the old-school vertical shoot'em-ups.

Sky Force is a fun diversion, and fans of the top-down shoot 'em up genre should definitely consider picking this up.

If you're a huge fan of the mobile game, by all means pay the extra, but everyone else should be mindful of the competition before slapping their money down.

Sky Force represents good value and is fun and challenging. However it isn't without its faults, with maybe an option to turn auto-fire on and off being a nice addition. In the main though this is another excellent addition to the Minis library, which continues to produces excellent titles, yet continues to be very under-rated.

Taking too much inspiration from other – much better – games, Infinite Dreams' shooter never rises to the quality of the titles it wishes it was, instead providing a bland but competent shmup.
