This is an adventure whose key element is the mystery. A very interesting story and a very personal aesthetic will keep us engaged, even though its control system should be improved.

Silence of the Sleep is a long and inspired psychological horror that keeps serving new mechanics to the player. And most of the time they work.

Solid atmospheric 2D-Horror with excellent sound design. In terms of gameplay it stays mediocre though.

Although they are not executed to perfection, Silence of the Sleep provides a fairly solid adventure game experience.

There's more value in the visuals and in the musical score than what you'll find on the gameplay side here, and that's a shame.

Silence of the Sheep is a great example of why there’s still life in 2D games. This game is a scary game that has some truly terrifying moments, stunning artwork and brilliant audio. However it is let down with some controls flaws such as the poorly implemented inventory, and some frustrating puzzles that will have you googling their solution.

Deeply atmospheric artwork and an excellent soundtrack set the premise for a deeply personal horror experience that loses its footing when it comes to hit or miss puzzle design and stealth sections that seem to punish the player, detracting from an otherwise very strong experience.

Jesse Makkonen undoubtedly has a great sensitivity, but throughout the whole adventure his limits as a one-man-show become evident. This is a good test, but if the young developer was surrounded by other highly specialized professionals, the result would have been much better.
