Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is Ninja Theory's magnum opus. It's a sequel that's ambitious but not overbearing. With this game, the studio has perfected its craft of portraying immaculate cinematic experiences, glimpses of which can be traced back to its earlier games, like 2007's Heavenly Sword. Most importantly, with Hellblade 2, Ninja Theory has created an utterly refreshing AAA single-player experience that is unlike anything Xbox has currently to offer this generation.

It’s the sheer force of the lead actors’ performances that will lead you through a somewhat laboured tale of a hero whose mental strife overshadows the challenge of her adversaries.

Игра крайне унылая, прохождение по кишке. Не советую никому. Первая часть мне понравилась, а эту кое-как осилил

This is one of the most stunning games I've seen graphically **** I have to say both on PC and PS5 looks great. However, I found the first part way better, specially the ending. The gameplay gets repetitive after 1 h and it's just a long interactive movie, the combat even though it looks great is boring. There are no mechanics aside from the typical heavy/quick attack and parry from the beginning till the end.

I don't remember much about the first one, only that I found it tedious and didn't like it very much, so I came to this one with low expectations, and wow, what a fantastic game I found! The graphics, the music, the emotion, and the unique voices that make it feel like someone is talking to you from behind the whole time.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a stunning and immersive storytelling experience that really puts the player into the mind of its titular character. It’s even more narratively-focused than the first game (not to its detriment), with a bigger emphasis on how Senua sees and interacts with the world around her. The whole experience from start to finish has been beyond memorable.

I absolutely love it! It’s just as good as the first game. The graphics and sound are fantastic, and the storyline is even better. I highly recommend it and would definitely play it again.

Great experience. I loved first game and I got what I expected from Hellblade in part II. Story and gameplay didn't dissapoint me. It is not game for everyone - not another open-world mainstream action game. It is such a shame that it did not sell enough for similar games to be funded and developed in the future.

A game like Senua's Saga: Hellblade II can only be the result of years of passion and talent, captivating you with its unbelievable visuals, impeccable audio design, and powerful thought-provoking narrative. It's a veritable masterpiece, but it's just shy of perfection thanks to an average PC port and some minor criticisms.

Ninja Theory really knows how to end a game, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is no different. If you’re looking for a God Of War clone, this is not that game. With its unique presentation, cinematic narrative with amazing storytelling, game-changing visuals, beautiful sound design, and digestible length, Xbox Games Studios and Ninja Theory have a successful franchise on their hands. I want to continue to come back to Senua and go on these adventures. If you have Xbox Game Pass, go download this and Senua’s Sacrifice.

Though I initially worried that Hellblade 2's dark story about psychosis would trigger my anxiety, it's a surprisingly inspiring sequel about perseverance in the face of pain. It tells a story about overcoming what holds us down, and finding solace in others. It doesn't quite reach instant classic status due to uninspired gameplay that's much less creative and ambitious than its stunning presentation, but Ninja Theory's latest is still an absolute must-play for any Xbox Game Pass subscriber and an experience I certainly won't forget anytime soon.

While graphically Senua's Saga: Hellblade II offers memorable glimpses and moments, anything beyond the visual impact and the dark and fierce atmosphere is disappointing, especially for a sequel announced five years ago on which Microsoft bet big.

By turns astonishing and insufferable, there is as much here to make your eyes roll as widen. Even the moments when Hellblade II delivers nigh-unparalleled visual spectacle (see 'Giant steps') are soured by the fact that our involvement in these set-pieces so often feels incidental. For long stretches, it's akin to watching someone else play, only occasionally - and always unwillingly - handing back the controller. We can't help but return to that old chestnut about the interactive experience being a conversation between designer and player; there is an irony that in this, of all games, we're scarcely able to get a word in edgeways. Fabuloso e Ótimo, tão excepcional quanto ao primeiro jogo!!! Trilha sonora continua IMPECÁVEL, a história junto com a jornada de Senua continua muito emocionante e fascinante até o final do jogo. Jogo é uma obra prima.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II arrives nearly five years after its initial reveal, and four years into the Xbox Series S/X lifecycle. Developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios, it’s a stunning visual showcase that’s exclusive to Xbox and PC—available day one on Game Pass, which is how I played it on my Series S. Set after the events of the first game, the story follows Senua as she deliberately gets captured by slavers to kill their leader and free her people, only to discover a far greater threat along the way. The setup promises a grander scale, but the execution is mixed.Despite a larger team and better hardware, the game feels more limited than expected. The combat is polished and cinematic, with one-on-one encounters that look incredible, and standout moments like a group battle in the third act really shine. But the moment-to-moment gameplay is sluggish, with lots of slow walking and minimal exploration. While the voices in Senua’s head return with haunting, binaural sound design, much of the adventure feels passive. The side characters introduced in each chapter don’t get enough development, making key story moments fall flat—though a post-game feature allowing them to narrate adds some retroactive depth. What truly sets Senua’s Saga apart is how jaw-droppingly beautiful it looks. This is easily the most graphically impressive game I’ve played, with meticulous lighting, breathtaking landscapes, and film-like transitions that echo The Fellowship of the Ring. Melina Juergens once again delivers a powerhouse performance as Senua, backed by top-tier motion capture and sound work. While the gameplay doesn’t always match the presentation, the experience is still worth your time—especially if you’re on Game Pass or were a fan of the original. Just go in with tempered expectations.

The Microsoft purchase of Ninja Theory has let the rot seep in. This no longer feels like the inspired work of artists but the commissioned labor of craftsmen: Technically and visually amazing, and the fighting is captivating.
But the story and script are uninspired and unrelatable. Senua feels like she's getting excited over nothing, making it hard to identify with her anymore. The first game felt so much more powerful—this one feels like wasted potential. The game doesn’t let your emotions flow naturally - instead, it instructs you when to feel moved, repeating the obvious — a sign of creative decay.

I played the first game, it was great, and this one was like this. It's a great game. It's a masterpiece. I recommend it. If you like the viking theme, give it priority. You won't regret it.
SummaryThe sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without. Sink deep into the next chapter of Senua’s... Read More
