One of the best games I've ever played. Perfect 10/10. It has perfect writing, perfect direction, perfect gameplay, perfect execution. Do NOT believe the negative reviews: The story is NOT "controversial" nor is it "woke" at all. I despise woke "culture" - and this game is anything but woke.

The Microsoft purchase of Ninja Theory has let the rot seep in. This no longer feels like the inspired work of artists but the commissioned labor of craftsmen: Technically and visually amazing, and the fighting is captivating. But the story and script are uninspired and unrelatable. Senua feels like she's getting excited over nothing, making it hard to identify with her anymore. The first game felt so much more powerful—this one feels like wasted potential. The game doesn’t let your emotions flow naturally - instead, it instructs you when to feel moved, repeating the obvious — a sign of creative decay.

Oh, perfection! This game is simply perfect! It has made me laugh, tear up, sweat, and constantly move the carpet with my feet as I can't sit still while playing this... Amazing creation. I am only halfway through, but I have already gotten my money's worth. This game is the best thing to have graced my switch since super Mario Odyssey. Sure, it has its flaws, naturally, but when something is THIS good, when its highlights are SO amazing, SO exciting, SO beautiful, funny, thrilling, breathtaking, spine-chilling, then talking about its flaws seems like nitpicking, like nose picking. The guys at Platinum have outdone themselves completely. I just wish the whole voice actress fiasco wouldn't have happened, because I think it was a bad move on both sides. I mean, they could have shelled out a bit more cash. Come on!

This is probably the best game I have ever played. I love it so much! However: I have weigh in on this sadly catastrophic launch: I've been in the web development business for over 20 years. Anyone knows: whatever the development time is, you add another extra 33% ON TOP of that for QA testing & bugfixing. CDPR will learn the hard way. I personally haven't experienced THAT many bugs (I only played 5-6 hours), but the ones I *have* experienced are a little ridiculously unforgivable: NPC characters standing inside each other, or inside the floor, or appearing above cars... Or spotting me through the walls?! How. weak. Dude. CDPR You guys tried to cut down on the costs apparently, and you skimped on QA... Get your act together. We all know you can. WTF, seriously. Thy aren't even so difficult to find, these bugs: You need to setup a line of "reference" machines. I guess your machines all worked? Either that, or you were aware of the bugs. No matter what the case is, CDPR **** up. And I'm surprised they did.

I've never, ever given any game a perfect ten. And no - this game is not perfect, of course. But I will explain: I have simply fallen in love, deeply, with what they've created here.. I'm a die-hard sci-fi fan of Magnum opus such as the Hyperion saga (Dan Simmons), and The Dune saga (Frank Herbert)... And here, I am close to the end of the game, and I swear, I am in tears. I love this place, this... Universe, so much! I can't explain the spell that this game has cast over me. It feels like something out of my dream world, my fantastical wildest subconscious imagination - come to life! I wish it didn't have to end. I'm crying, really. Honestly: I've simply been lovestruck, and heartbroken, by this fabulous, epic, magnificent creation. This is the closest thing I've ever come to experiencing *actually* being in a different, parallel reality. I am so grateful. And so moved. I love this with all my heart. I send my heartfelt gratitude for this. Thank you.

"Neon Isaac" It's definitely fun, I'll give it that. But I have two issues with it: the first is how small its world feels. The music, fantastic as it is, kind of gets tired fast. The world just kind of gets old fast TBH. Secondly, I simply can't help but cringe & grit my teeth at the oh-so-obvious ripping off of Binding of Isaac's both graphical style & ideas, to the point where sometimes I felt like my mind was hoping for certain sidekicks from Isaac's world.

This is so awful. It's a disgraceful clone of Celeste. The worst thing is how unpolished it is... Celeste was absolutely polished to the max. The controls and Celeste felt fun and tight. And in this poor clone the controls feel so bad. as a game developer myself, it looks as if someone was trying their luck to see if they can mimic some of Celeste's gameplay mechanics, and at a certain point decided to make a full-fledged game of it. The result is this poor thing, which for some reason was published by Team17.. shameful. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this.

Oh, the mediocrity hurts! I believe the target audience for this game should be marked as children ages 4 to 12. The story, the writing, the dialogues... They are all simply mediocre. Moreover, the lack of XP points makes most battles feel like a drag. Sure enough, the graphics are sweet, but something just feels... Boring as hell. I wish I'd spent that money on any other Mario title. Because this game feels like a chore, like something that I have to finish only to justify the expense.

This is a game that was made with love, and with passion - and it feels that way. Yes, the graphics, controls, and sound aren't top notch. And yes - the dialogue is bizarre, and sometimes outright funny. And yes! - some of the things are cliché, and border on the ridiculously silly. But - the game is amazing. I am falling in love with a characters and honestly I can't wait to see how the story unfolds, because it is anything but predictable. It's been a long time since I've played such an original, thrilling game.

I am one of the first Kickstarter backers. I paid $100 for this. Because I am a fan of Symphony of the Night. And believe me when I say, this game is nothing but hype. Let's ignore the horrible 30fps, downgraded resolution for the switch. Let's ignore ALL the switch technical flaws: The game is just.. badly directed. The sound mastering is horrible. The dialogues feel muted and synthetic. the whole set up just feels like a really bad the movie, a horrible bad horror movie from the 80s. I honestly cannot believe that I paid to have this atrocity made. The flaws in this game go far beyond just technical issues, it has artistic fallacies that just are impossible to ignore. I couldn't bring myself to enjoy it even when I ignored all the technical aspect of the switch and believe me there are some technical aspects here. Whoever rated this game above a seven in my personal opinion is just biased. This is really shameful and so disappointing on so many levels. you better take your money and invested in any other in the game there are amazing games out there that are much better and much less pretentious believe me you don't need this pretentious game in your collection. Unless it falls to a price of like 10 bucks then okay, for $10 I would buy it but even $0.01 more is completely exaggerated. I cannot believe how I fell for the hype of this campaign. this all just serves to prove that one of the things that made Symphony of the night so great was indeed the Castlevania IP and probably the restrictions imposed by Konami back in the day. some people when you give them creative freedom is just too much for them to handle and this is what I believe happened here for years in production and this is the product that we get? Unbelievable! The ridiculous thing is that if this game would have preserved its 2D graphics and more effort was invested on the direction and the production and putting the pieces together so that they made emotional sense then it could really have been a good game. but I feel like 70% of the power was invested in making graphics look great on a PS4 specifically mind you. I don't know I just feel so disappointed this is so many levels below Castlevania Symphony of the night, there's just no place for comparison. A great disappointment. keep away from this until its price drops to one-third of his current price.

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda

I bought this game because I loved Necrodancer. I think most people who wrote reviews for this game are content with anything "Zelda". Not me. This is no longer a roguelike dungeon crawler with amazing music, which was everything that was good about Necrodancer. The game is downright annoying, the music is just a plain mediocre remix of worn out Zelda tunes. The exploration fun is gone. The stages are zelda style screens, except they honestly not fun to play with. Necrodancer used to be an immersive DANCE. Now it's just a mind numbing ambient music that picks up the pace once in a while. I'm not feeling the groove! I just threw money down the drain on this one. And let me be very clear: I absolutely love the old Zelda hames. Do Not buy into the hype. Some things just don't mix well. Zelda's top down design is a contradiction to everything that made Necrodancer so engaging. Unless, of course, you're a Zelda fan, and will be pleased with any game that lets you play as Link. To me, that's just. Not. Enough. I do not get The Shivers just seeing Link on the screen or hearing the washed up old tune. I look for originality, or at least immersiveness, and I feel like I was too quick to buy this one. Downright silly of me. I just love videogames so much, I sometimes just believe the hype. I'm here to be, apparently the ONLY one to tell you: watch out. Overhyped. Not worth even 50% of it's price.

Cuphead

Oh god! if there was EVER a bloatingly overrated game, ever, in the full 4 decade history of videogames - cuphead is the one. Please, do NOT buy into the overrated exaggerations, this game is built on one simple element: give the player lousy controls, and thwart the player by creating levels at impossible angles - just downright annoying every step of the way! You will encounter a game that is extremely difficult, and the only reason is that, as I mentioned, the player's controls are hindered on purpose. I trusted all those amazing user reviews and bought the game, and every time I tried to give it a go, I wad annoyed and disappointed again, and again, and again. What on over-hyped, historical, outdated game. Like many things nowadays, it's the HYPE ALONE that makes people "like" this - just like, hypster beards: does anyone really believe it's just a coincidence that 85% of people all of a sudden like beards? They don't. They say they do, because others have them. They "go with the flow". Don't "go with the flow", this game is worthless. In fact, I'm betting if it had 16 color graphics, like for example (a true masterpiece) undertale - its popularity would plummet. Because other than a funky retro style - there is NOTHING on offer here. I can't believe I bought this. Don't do it. Waste of money.
