These scallywags plundered me wallet! Be warned matey, there be a very shallow waters **** ahead! In seriousness, this game is not worth more than a dollar given the utter lack of content. It controls well enough and looks fine, but you'll have to break into way too much rum to find any fun.

"Sea King” Reviewed by: Elias S. Lutes Publisher: Interactive Stone Developer: Interactive Stone Platforms: Switch Budget. Boats. Battles. Sea King is a compilation of thirteen different multiplayer mini games, each with different mechanics and objectives that keep gameplay quick and exciting. After trying each of the modes with AI, I tried again with friends and the game really shined. Our favorite by far was the Fishing net game, followed by Kraken Hugs and Vortex Royale. Each of the games takes a moment to get used to, and while the controls can leave you frustrated when playing against the AI, in a game with friends everyone is on a similar playing field, which makes things vastly more engrossing. The music throughout each game has a wonderful way of increasing the immersion, but some of the voice quips become annoying over time, especially when hearing them over and over. The visuals are appealing, and each ship is easy to pick out among the others, making it hard to lose track of yourself amongst the fray. If you aren’t planning for multiplayer, this is a safe title to skip out on, but for those like myself who like to have friends over for party games often, this is one you won’t want to miss. Pros: - The fishing mini game is solid gold. - Multiplayer with friends is honestly amazing. Cons: - Controls are not very responsive, making the boats feel heavy. - Playing with AI is not fun. Overall: 8/10 This collection of seafaring sorties is incredibly fun with a pal or three at your side for couch co-op. The AI is great for training yourself to accept multiple kicks in the face, but that aside, this is definitely something to pick up if you have friends over a lot for party games. The rounds are short, the games have enough differences to keep things fresh, and the ocean has never been more open to adventure.
