Research Story

Excellent game, with similar vibe as **** valley. I like research story's game loop where you research a plant/animal and then produce items from it. It still in early access but I found no bugs and the content has been great so far(I have about 30hs of gameplay). Well worth the money.

I don't know how this game was out for so Long and I didn't hear anything about it! I randomly found the demo on steam the other day, LOVED it, and bought it the next day. Its kinda like other super cozy farming games, only in this one adds a Research side to it, where you research and gather notes on everything- sounds kind of weird but its really fun and addicting already lol The devs really did an awesome job with this game so far, and I wish more people knew about it! Its so fun, super cute art style, and LOTS of character customizations! YOU can even tame a fox to be your little buddy- Freakin cute! FIND THIS GAME AND PLAY IT!

This game doesn’t get nearly enough recognition! It's a great cozy game! I have about 150 hours into this game (not quite done yet). I absolutely recommend it. Here’s my impression. Pros: It’s unique with the research and journal storyline. The character pics are great. The cut scenes are just numerous and varied enough. The foraging, farming, and gathering creatures is complex enough to make it interesting (different fertilizers and soil for the plants and different pens and food for the critters). There’s mining & some puzzles too, but no combat. The fishing mini game is easy enough. It’s engrossing. I like that the game has a research center and not the typical museum. There’s even an **** npc. That amuses me. You can save anytime, but it also saves when you go to bed! And (*insert drumroll*) you can double the length of the day. The Cons: The pixel characters are really small. If they were only 10% larger it would be easier to tell who is who and the Dev wouldn’t need to change the doorways or buildings. That’s about it for cons. Well, perhaps except for this 1 puzzle and that's it's really hard to gather enough gold for quite a while. I'm looking forward to the full version. Oh, and speaking of the Dev – Miki is very responsive and helpful concerning game issues.

This game doesn't get nearly enough attention as it should. You can tell that the devs genuinely care about it, and it shows in its progression. It feels very rewarding to play, and we're not even going to mention how CUTE it is <3
