Full of surprises and tactically challenging to the very last map. Unfortunately the focus on in-app-purchases takes away from an otherwise great strategy game.

It has a learning curve, it rewards those that think a round ahead and has piped my interest in the physical product. Bravo.

Neuroshima Hex mixes classic board gaming with Borderlands, and it works. This is an awesome board game conversion with excellent touch mechanics. But be prepared for a very steep learning curve in this Polish strategy title. The reward of learning the rules though is an absolute brilliant pass and play experience on iOS.

In my opinion, it's the funnest and most engaging strategy game out there. It's simple enough to get the hang of in a sitting, yet the strategy is deep enough to get you hooked. There is a bit of luck involved, but not enough to determine the outcome of most games. It would be nice to have the 3.0 board with the new art, but this is a much cheaper option (especially the expansions).

An excellent tense, fast pace turn-based strategy game which is deeply satisfying & rewarding coupled with its four-player local multiplayer, and online multiplayer makes Neuroshima Hex one of the best strategy game for the ipad and is a must have game app.

Neuroshima Hex is a board game that almost seems like it was destined for the App Store and it's great to see this deep strategic title now available for people to try.

In the last few months, Neuroshima Hex for iPhone and iPad is greately improved since its initial release. Now the game combines a great aesthetic quality with a polished and intuitive interface. The difficulty curve has been softened, even if the game is still very complex, but now it should really deserve a deeper and more satisfying multiplayer mode, online and offline. With some kind of multiplayer option, Neuroshima Hex can certainly compete with other board games on the App Store like TheCodingMonkey's Carcassonne.

Neuroshima Hex! should appeal to fans of tabletop role-playing games, or those looking for a board game experience heavy on strategy and apart from the norm.

A faithful replication of a mentally taxing strategy board game, Neuroshima Hex is limited by its small selection of gameplay modes but offers an engrossing and complex multiplayer experience.
