Neptunia x Senran Kagura Nijnja Wars is an extremely mediocre hack and slash Action RPG that lacks the soul and charm of both of the franchises this game contains. I don't know why the user score of this game is an 8.2 when it's not good enough for that. At best it's a 6-7 out of 10 and at worst it's a 5. Reused assets up the wazoo, repetitive mission structure, bland combat and uninteresting story hurt any value the game might've had: if you have to get this game, get it on a deep sale. It's not worth $50. The game is cheaply made on a shoe-string budget and it shows. Music is ok but really forgettable, the voicing is alright but lack of an English Dub might be a turn-off for some (like myself) people due to the comedic nature of the game. The Switch Version is the worse one due to the weaker hardware, meaning more slowdown and issues compared to the PS4 and PC Versions.

Disappointing amount of fanservice. No transformations, no clothing break, and slower-paced than other Senran Kagura games.

An endearingly fun, slightly janky game. Never played a Neptunia title, but have finished a few Senran Kagura games. This had a ridiculous story which didn't take itself seriously and had some funny dialogue. The action parts were basic but generally a lot of fun - I enjoyed them more than the basic Senran Kagura experience tbh. I liked the tag team mechanic. Fanservice was never too extreme or intrusive. Recommended if you're into weirder titles.

4 years passed without a new installment of a Senran Kagura for the Nintendo Switch and 7 years without a game of the hack and slash genre, the last being Deep Crimson. Years of not receiving a game for Nintendo, and seeing how it was censored on the Playstation. A new installment has finally arrived, even if it is a crossover for the hybrid console. Although the game does not support the graphic capacity that the PS4 supports, it came out decently and playable for the Switch. Although there are parts that you have to wait a long time, although you can skip parts, but it doesn't make sense if you want to follow the story. I recommend the game better on the Switch than on the PS4 by far and for all the bad things Sony did with this beautiful franchise. Although if you want graphic quality and things that the Switch has (uncensored), then wait for it on the PC. Now, about Playstation for the damage it did to the Senran Kagura saga, neither forgetting nor forgiveness.
