why does this exist. clunky and hard to control, yet somehow i cant help but to laugh at this archive of early 2010s humor.

Truly one of the greatest games of the decade. Flawless graphics and gameplay. It was removed due to it being too addicting, sadly.

First of all I can't believe this type of games are on Wii U, and second how can Nintendo allow this? This is unacceptable. The game is nothing, it's just a game made in Flash. Don't buy this game, I am not joking. Trust me, you'll want your money back.

The concept for Meme Run might be interesting but the final product is just plain bad. It looks and feels cheap and asking five Dollars for a game that drives you insane is more than brave...

Some teenager made this I guess just to get some money for college. This game is bad in every single way. Only annoying kids and teens will buy and laugh at this game. This game always deserves a skip. That teen must have $ 1,000 dollars by now cause of this useless game.

I took a while to get back to this game. Miiverse was stripped from this game, so I'm giving this game 1/10th of my original review. Without being able to post posts on Miiverse, submitting scores (the only lure of this game) is impossible and not fun (there are other places, but few people post there). My new review is .69/10.

The game looks about as stupid as it plays, but i know that it is part of the game's charm and i think that just for the laughs and the entertainment that it brings, it is a funny purchase for anyone who has a Wii U.

This game is a waste of $5. The developer tried to give away locked DLC for people voting his game in on steam. That's really shady and unacceptable. The game-play is boring after 5 minutes. Don't waste your time or money, I agree that it's funny, but a YouTube video of it will give you the same satisfaction as actually playing it.

Meme run combines two great genres of games, memes, and fps to create the best game of its generation. It easily dethrones ocarmin of the mask as the best game of 2010. Memerblast is by far the best game of 2012. My final verdict, 154/10 earns my knacky seal of approval.

Great. So now, memes have made their way onto the Nintendo console. What is this world coming to? No, I haven't played it, and I have no intention on doing so (simply because I hate memes). This game looks more like it would've been acceptable as a free to play flash game way back in 2005, but giving even $5 for this game? A better use of that money could go to a homeless person or, hell, even down your toilet.

At first you might laugh when you first play this game for about 20 minutes because of the non-stop barrage of memes, but after that the truth unfolds that this is an over-priced piece of shovelware. Let's run down the list of what's wrong with this "game". - No built-in high score leaderboards. Instead you have to make a post on Miiverse so you can remember what your best score is. -Terrible collision detection. Very often you will try to jump, but because 1/5th of your character is off the platform it doesn't register. There's also a terrible bug that makes you fall through the floor when descending. -Inconsistent sound volume. The entire game is really quiet, but when you get a wambo combo the screams are at LEAST 8x louder than the rest of the game. I'm not exaggerating. -The memes appear at the same place at the same time every time you play a new game. It doesn't take long to realize this and it ruins the humor of it. -Games only last about 20 seconds because of the poor collision detection I mentioned earlier. -Meme run cost $5, and you'll only play it for about 45 minutes at longest. Don't make the same mistake I did and don't buy this game, escpecially when it's the same price Virtual Console game. Maybe if the price goes down to about $0.50 at some point and more content is added, but for now, steer clear of this garbage.

Don't buy this. Seriously not even for a joke. This is the worst thing that could have possibly happened to the eshop, they started taking things that are popular on teh interwebs 101!!1! and started pushing them as functional games.

I have played many masterpieces such as MIB Alien Crisis, Motocross Mania, and SpongeBob's Surf and Skate Roadtrip, but Meme Run blew those games all out of the water. Meme Run is one of the greatest games of this year, and possibly eon. Meme Run challenges the player to accomplish arduous tasks such as collecting Illuminatis, gaining swag points, and dodging no scopes that are most likely from FaZe members. The game has perfect physics and the graphics are beyond astonishing. I couldn't stop myself from playing Meme Run, and I am playing Meme Run right now as I type this message. Meme Run has changed my standards for video games overall. No longer can I accept games I once thought were amazing, as Meme Run has grinded those games to dust. I have cancelled my pre order for the highly anticipated game SpongeBob Hero Pants on Playstation Vita and I highly reccomend you to do the same. Meme Run has affected video games and my life forever, there's no going back. Please, do yourself a favor and purchase Meme Run for you and all those you hold dear.

$5 Dollars for game like this? Unacceptable. You can get a Subway Sandwich for that and you will be more happy about that. I mean... five bucks for a FLASH GAME?!

I wouldn't call it a horrible game, but it will get boring eventually if no updates come. If Meme run was $1, i would recommend this to anyone, but because of its outrageous price, i can only recommend meme run to people who really love montage parodies or who have money to burn.
