It's a great game overall, the building options are very nice. But the core gameplay gets slightly annoying. Building tracks and roads was so infuriating that it made me abandon the game eventually

An elaborate puzzle game of "move this thing from A to B", build a craft up to the task, then make it happen. The crafting can be somewhat simple, but works well. You get a decent variety of tasks, though they do start to feel pretty samey after a while. Task, build, traversal, reward. And a bit of scouting as well. Not a whole lot to write home about, but everything works, it has a few decent tracks to listen to, and is overall a good time. Not cons per se, but quirks: I found it more interesting earlier on as you have less parts at your disposal so you have to get more creative with your vehicle crafting, given as for the later stuff, you can easily whip up anything for the task at hand and it's almost too easy. And also with the way that the graphics are done, it can be easy to not see smaller terrain features, mainly bumps. It's like they should add some ambient occlusion so there's at least a bit of shadows to help you see (though with the simple graphics the game does have, I imagine it can run on a potato).
