Upon the release the PC version is the only reasonable way to enjoy Kingdom Come. And there’s a lot to enjoy, because historically accurate Middle Ages are an awesome setting. The beginning of the game might not be spectacular, but give Deliverance a chance and it will develop into a unique, deep, gripping experience. [04/2018, p.42]
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a different kind. It's incredibly absorbing in its pace, it amazes with a manically detailed medieval era features and a totally true atmosphere, a series of skillfully built quests and, and when you get used to it, a fantastic combat system. There is a one-too-much cliché in the story arc, but the main problem lies in the technical issues. The game is, however, such a remarkable, huge, different and fresh experience that the occasional bug can be simply ignored.

A robust RPG deserves your attention not only for its domestic origin. You will easily forgive its smaller mistakes because of a great narration and a complex gameplay. [Issue#283]

The story, characters, dialogues and cutscenes are masterpieces 10/10, but the gameplay is just so slow and boring, the fighting, alchemy, and every little action. Only the horse riding is okay gameplay wise.

The Dark Middle Ages. To begin with, I played the game in hard mode. There is no quick movement, interface, character marker on the map, and you have to choose two debuffs from the nine available at the beginning, along with other challenges. I chose debuffs related to food and stamina.Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game developed by the Czech company Warhorse Studios. This is an open-world adventure RPG with an A-life system and an emphasis on realism. The game has many positive aspects, but also a few negative ones, which I will discuss **** my opinion, the main advantages are. Skill development - there are a lot of them. Eloquence, lock picking, pickpocketing, hunting, reading, alchemy, and even drunkenness (yes, it counts as a skill). I have listed only those that I consider to be the best. I don't think that herbalism and repairs are good, it's pretty routine. For example, I've always bought herbs rather than harvested them, and the equipment can be repaired for next to nothing.Character development - I didn't pay much attention to my equipment or my combat skills. But after the first assault, everything changed. I tried to complete the task with a minimum amount of equipment and without understanding the combat mechanics, spending 6 hours on it, but nothing worked. I decided to learn how to fight with a shield and a short sword from Centurion Bernard. During the training, my passive skills improved, and I finally comprehended the mechanics of combat. Then I did side quests, earned some money, stole and sold loot. I became interested in alchemy, made some potions, and acquired the Witcher's skill. After leveling up and understanding the intricacies of the battle, I went on the assault and completed the task that I needed the first time, following the plot further. This part of the game was very interesting and enjoyable for me. I felt like I was making progress.A-life - The game has an artificial life support system, which is implemented rather mediocre, but there are some interesting details that definitely add value. For example, in one quest, refugees need to find a job. The positions of water carriers were available - I decided who would take them. Having hired people, they actually walked around the territory and carried water. The game is full of such small details.Combat is a unique combat system that may seem complicated at first glance, but it's not. I chose a tactic: a shield and a short sword. I played mostly by counterattacking, using good equipment and potions.Stealth is an interesting stealth mechanic. There are three main characteristics: visibility, detectability, and noise. They depend on the equipment and the effects on the character. For example, when you're drunk, you're more visible. Stealth makes it easier to pick locks, pickpocket, and kill with a dagger (**** RPG role-playing system is implemented quite well. You can be a benevolent person, but you also have the opportunity not to choose the path of goodness. Eloquence affects the chances of convincing your interlocutor, as well as charm and your armor. The choices you make when completing tasks have consequences.Funny situations and humor - During the passage, I often came across funny situations, and there were many humorous quests. Here is one of them: I leave the domain of high-ranking lords after receiving a reward and promotion, and I am immediately stopped by a guard to check if I have stolen items, right in front of the lords' doors. I bribe him to leave me alone, and from that moment on, I **** let's move on to the negative aspects of the game. Poor optimization - my configuration is 4060ti, 32 GB, 5600 MHz, r5 7500f, 1080p, and in crowded areas and mass battles, FPS can drop to 50 frames per second. It's very frustrating. My settings were set to "High". Not "Ultra", but the game was released in 2018.Technical problems - there are a lot of bugs in it. Examples: characters can get stuck in each other (this happened very often), under some unknown circumstances your character can fly 10 meters into the air and land as if nothing had happened, people appear on the screen out of nowhere, there are many minor bugs in the behavior of NPCs that are **** it really realistic? Due to the technical flaws, there are many exploits in the game, so it doesn't seem "realistic". For example, I'm fighting two bandits. I can take one of them on horseback, and the other one will just leave me alone and not attack because of the distance. I can also steal items from the store in plain sight, and then convince them that I'm on a secret mission (using eloquence)-and this can be done all the time. That's why I've never had problems with gear and money :) Due to poor optimization and constant bugs, it feels like you are playing a very raw game, as if it is at some stage of testing.Personal rating: 6/10

With its many mechanical similarities to Gothic by Piranha bytes, Kingdom Come Deliverance can be a bit frustrating piece of wood (weird animations, quite ugly character models, textures often not loading, objects teleporting, characters disappearing, bugs when fighting, glitched story missions). However I must admit that if this game hasn't sold well it would be titled the underappreciated gem. Historical accuracy is its very strong side, setting is also unique. While not in cutscenes, it can be really immersive. I've heard that exactly what I'm criticizing has been redesigned in the sequel, which I look forward to checking myself. 7/10

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Thankfully, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not a landslide, a mix of game and reality. It may not capture the appeal of the overall mainstream, but that’s okay. Anyone willing to take a dive into the niche waters of the gaming world, and not afraid of games being unforgiving, should definitely check this out. I love this game. Open your eyes, give this game a try and see.

It's almost impossible not to compare Kingdom Come: Deliverance with the Witcher series: there's absolutely no fantasy in the Warhorse production, but it boasts a strong character, an enormous quantity of content, choices that matter, and an adult and mature storyline. You can't expect the same visual quality or a comparable level of polish (pun intended), but the battles are like nothing you've ever seen, and the depth of the simulation really drags the player into a beautiful medieval novel.

Everything that can be good in a game. Once you get the hang of the combat it will be a smooth and emotionall ride with memorable sidecharacters, quests and antagonists. If you think the combat was to hard or have heard that it is to hard, then take some time and train with wooden swords in Rattay, try to find easier ways to defeat your enemies like waiting for night then sneak in and stab them in the dark when they have no armour. Yes, the game can be punishing but it is twice as rewarding when you win a fight.

Replayed PC-version 2025 in anticipation of KDC II. One of the rare examples of a believable, fully immersive story, crafted with love and attention to historic and other detail, eliciting a caleidoscope of feelings from humor, excitement, fear, to grief and everything in between. Very long-term joy of playing. Addictive from both main and side quest lines, plus fantastic DLCs as a second helping. Loved the game when I first played it, still love it the second time. Definitely keen on playing KCD 2.

Kingdom Come is nothing short of awe-inspiring, with its flaws and all. I hope we see many more games like this from Warhorse.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a surprising, unique and precious experience, whose imperfections disappear in the embrace of a world in which you will leave a small part of yourself.

Had the initial forty-to-fifty hour campaign not delivered the level of bugs and problems present in the current build, you'd easily be looking at potentially one of the year's best all-round experiences in an RPG and an essential for everyone no matter your affiliation with the genre. As it stands, visually, technically and mechanically sound as its foundation is, Kingdom Come: Deliverance's performance is an unruly and occasionally unpredictable beast.

If Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a ton of bug fixing to improve the performance drastically, it could be a hidden gem. It’s clear that the game, despite its grand ambitions, was simply not ready for public consumption. Shimmers of brilliance are there and had it seen more time in the oven, or set its expectations at a more reasonable level, it could have been brilliant and scored significantly higher as a result. Alas, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is another cautionary tale rather than a trend setter.

First of all, I’m not usually a fan of medieval-style games, but this one actually made me fall in love with the genre. I don’t even know where to start — there’s just so much to say. The graphics are beautiful, colorful, and vibrant. You literally blend into the world. The landscapes are so breathtaking that sometimes you just stop and stare at the sunrise or sunset. The story hits hard — it’s brutal, unforgiving, and realistic. You start as a simple nobody and slowly grow into a glorious hero. The combat mechanics and archery feel clunky at first, but don’t get discouraged, it’s designed that way on purpose, so you gradually learn and improve. It’s a realistic and challenging game, and of course it’s not for everyone. But once you understand the mechanics, the story, and what you’re supposed to do, you simply can’t step away from your PC. Hours just fly by without you even noticing. Finally, I want to say that at the time of writing this review I’m 25 years old, and very few games have ever made me feel like I was truly there — in those landscapes, feeling the struggle, and growing alongside Henry. An absolutely outstanding game. Hats off to the developers. Please, from the bottom of my heart, give it a try.

Огромное количество багов, абсурдные механики(попробуйте взламывать замки на геймпаде). Избыточный реализм не забывайте. Графон тоже невероятный)))

I love the idea and how open the world it is, but I am always taken from the immersion by lousy animation, random glitches and absolutely horrible UI. The story and dialogues are extremely boring. Please be better KCD2
